Go to Africa, and you'll be hard pressed to find a single atheist, yet it's the most backwards, primitive, violent part of the entire world. A lack of god isn't the problem here. I had an incredibly uncomfortable 3 hr bus ride in Ghana because of a fire and brimstone preacher who was going bonkers on the passengers and, being the only white person on the bus, everything he said was directed at me - slagging off western values etc. I had a neck-ache because I had my head turned out the window the entire journey to avoid his gaze. He engaged me a few times, I didn't lie, I told him I didn't believe in God. The atmosphere was fucking atrocious, I thought I might get killed to be honest. And then the cunt robbed them blind, taking money from them they didn't have to give. And then when they didn't give enough, he called them all sinners until they gave him more. No I don't expect that but it does go to show how the media has an agenda. If certain roles were changed here this would be talked about for weeks.

This is usually a right-wing talking point but I think they are right when it comes to how race is portrayed in media.
