Crime Headlining Crime Megathread Vol 4.

this fucking guy.... a security guard can touch you if you continue to trespass and refuse to leave private property and touching somebody is not attacking somebody. You might be the dumbest lawyer on Sherdog.

Did you watch the video? Both of them had left the building Once outside something happens right off camera that likely was more than a mere touching. I don't know Australian law so I am not going to guess whether what you would be saying would be true if the two had stayed inside after being asked to leave.

They were still on the property, he indicated where the property ended to them.

So, based on the available video we have seen here in this thread... what evidence is there that the security criminally assaulted the camera guy? The camera guys words? "Don't fucking touch me..."?

Assuming the security guard really did attack the guy. Obviously if nothing happened after the police interview the many witnesses nothing should happen but assuming the guard really did hit the guy then he should be charged.

The police have the CCTV footage, I assume they will be charged. Hence the Prime Minister's comment.

Do you have any idea what if any citizens arrest law there are in Australia. If I am in a bar can a bouncer physically force me out if I am not bothering anyone? What if I am in the parking lot?

Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission, wished the security guard a "full and speedy recovery".
"We are deeply saddened and horrified by this cowardly and sickening attack and condemn it in strongest possible terms," Dr Abramovich said.
"This assault, which has no place in our society, is another reminder of the racist ideology of the neo-Nazi movement and how quickly its agents of hate are willing to engage in violence.

Looks like one of those Stormfront guys actually made good and showed up.

which one of you guys was it?

He should not have done that. It was the wrong thing to do.

They can ask you to leave the property for any reason. If you refuse to comply they can use "reasonable force" to remove you.
"Reasonable force" also applies to detaining people for a citizens arrest, although I can't remember any actual cases.

here’s the full video:

They trespassed, were told to leave, called him a monkey and he beat him up bad.

How could editing change that.

He Should not have done that, it was the wrong thing to do.

He also did not call monkey out of nowhere, but because the gut was weirdly dancing/ moving. Have you never heard of that Dance Monkey song?

Can you name one place in the world where blacks dont commit more rape and violent crime per capita than their population suggests?

Just name one place.

Since I dont know what Im talking about and havent been curious enough to research it myself, you should be able to disprove me VERY easily.

Just name one place in the world, Ill wait.

Just out of curiosity, let's assume what you're saying is true.

Why do you believe this to be the case? Poor childhood and rearing situations? Poverty, remnants of Jim crow and other forms of institutionalized racism?

This does not bode well for free speech in Australian. I googled this incident and it looks like the politicians are linking this fight with some larger push to ban Nazi symbols and one of the things that got brought up is a Nazi concert the government was powerless to stop. So does this mean a Ian Stuart cover band can go to jail if it plays in a bar at the owners behest?

Victorian parliamentary committee set to announce decision on banning Nazi symbols

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews called it a "deficiency in the law" in 2019, when the state was similarly powerless to stop a planned neo-Nazi music festival in Melbourne.

I'm not on these guys' side, but you ommitted several things lol
"how could editing change that?"

he asks him to take his hands of the camera like 30 times
then they actually left the building
then it wasn't far enough
sercuity tells them to go past the white line to film
they comply with that
then the cameraman taunts the black guy by calling him a monkey
security guard gets angry and gets physical with the camera man
THen leader dude lost it and took him out quick

btw you could tell the guard was concussed he got tagged pretty hard either with punches or just from hitting the ground

it it too hard to believe that the security guard was phyical with someone who just called him a monkey?
I'm sure he didn't hit him or anything, but i'm pretty sure he put his hands on the cameraman at that point and not just the camera.... which is why the other guy freaked out. The security footage will show the evidence but it's not a crazy assumption to make based on what we saw in the video

doubt anybody would defend or make excuses for this type of behaviour...

now if only lefties did the same when their crazies are acting out (big majority of cases)

The right wing has a problem with race relations and nazis.

A nazi attacks a black security guard out of nowhere.

You use it as an excuse to moan about the left.

Wow.

Arrest him I guess. I didn't realize that there were Nazis in Australia.

I think you find Nazis wherever there are white people.

There were definitely Nazis where my family is from.

Or, camera guy made a derogatory comment, knew he was asking for it and pre-empted with “don’t fucking touch me”.

Had he said “get your hands of me” then we can say he had hands put on him.

But yeah, CCTV should clear it up

Give me an example of left wing insanity and I'll happily oblige.

FYI, I don't consider this incident right wing. It isn't political, it's just racist.

They hadn't complied.
They had stopped to film in the archway at the front of the building, which is when he came out to tell them to get off the property, and they were still on the property and filming when the guy told him to "Dance Monkey".

FYI, I don't consider this incident right wing. It isn't political, it's just racist.

The political aspect is only that a nazi group in the UK has been put on the terrorist list, which means guys like this could be arrested under our anti-terrorism laws for things like subscribing to their patreon accounts.
It's the first right-wing terrorist organisation listed here.
That was what sparked the A Current Affair episode profiling this guy's group, the fact that there's calls to put more of them on the terrorist list.
A Current Affair is sensationalist trash though, regardless of the subject material you'd find better elsewhere.

Edit: BTW This guy was filming to try and say his group was non-violent and was being unfairly profiled.
Yeah...
