Crime Headlining Crime Megathread Vol 4.

The same people dismissing this kid's death are the exact same people who were quiet as a mouse when those young black children were killed at the hands of black criminals recently. Absolute wall of silence. Honestly, I'm out, I'm done with this thread. It's poisoned by disgusting extreme left apologists. I'm not fraternising with people like this, even online. Laters.

Right on cue. The irony of this statement as you clowns dismiss not only Breonna Taylor’s affiliations but also the boyfriend that actually shot a cop and fired multiple rounds.

She ended up dead because her ex boyfriend was involved in low level drug dealing. I never dismissed that. Her current boyfriend only fired once and it was a warning shot.

In the end i don't think a woman had to lose her life because the police wanted to bust some low level drug dealers. Another casualty in a failed war of drugs.

It’s very easy to absolve oneself of responsibility. Fitting trend, wouldn’t you say?

Sed lex, dura lex

"The law is ugly, but it is the law."

If the state of Ohio says that man is guilty and deserves the death penalty, I'm good with that. If Ohio says he gets 2 days in prison and is a free man, I'm not good with that, but...

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Shelby County District Attorney General will not file charges against a man who shot and killed a 16-year-old attempted carjacker earlier this week.

A spokesperson for District Attorney Amy Weirich says investigators determined the shooting was justified.

According to police, the victim was pumping gas at Kroger Fuel Center near Poplar and Kirby when he noticed someone stole his key fob.

Police say he walked toward the store to ask about surveillance video but returned to his 2019 Mercedes SUV to find someone in the driver’s seat. The suspect jumped out of the passenger door and nearby police say the victim saw someone pointing a gun at him from a black car.

Investigators say the victim fired shots at the suspects. Sixteen-year-old Cameron Pryor died from his injuries. Willie Murry showed up at the hospital in the same black car with a gunshot wound to the foot. Police determined that car was also stolen and it had blood and bullet holes when officers found it. Murry is now facing charges in connection with the attempted carjacking as well as attempted second-degree murder.

Two Amish brothers in Missouri admitted having sex with their 12-year-old sister and getting her pregnant — but managed to avoid jail time because a prosecutor feared they’d “be eaten alive” in prison, according to a report.

The abuse came to light after a doctor alerted authorities that the girl was pregnant just after she turned 13 — and she said that four of her brothers, two of them also minors, had been having sex with her, according to the Webster County Citizen.

The eldest two — Aaron Schwartz, 22, and 18-year-old brother Petie — admitted to police that they had sex with her at least half a dozen times each at home in Seymour, starting when she was only 12, officials told the paper.

The sister ended up giving birth just two weeks ago — and “one of the brothers is the father of this child,” Webster County Prosecutor Ben Berkstresser told the paper.

So in essence, they must do community service and write an essay how to avoid that the same happens to their kids. And I am sitting here completely dumbfounded what is going on here. The United States have an insanely uptight and removed from reality penal code when it comes to teenagers and sex, but this is a case where I really cannot understand the leniency.

Also, I find the point (in the linked article) that they were harshly punished by the Amish community and that this also contributed to the lenient sentence somehow troubling. Why would this be a consideration?

Edit: I omitted the info that they reached a plea deal for 15 years, but that is suspended provided they write said sentence and complete a sex offender program within a year.
