This is irrefutably an act of violence with an explicitly political character, so I see no reason why it should be in the general headlining crime megathread.
 
I do not think it's unreasonable to feel as though the media does not report things in a...lets say balanced...way. If not for social media this story of a five year old white child cruelly murdered irrevocably and forever by his grown adult black African American neighbor would have been swept right under the rug. Just like the story of the grown adult black African American who threw a white child off the balcony at the mall of America last year in an attempt to murder him.

Just like Dr. Beth Potter and husband who were murdered by black men. Just like, here in Cleveland, Michael and Tina kuznick were murdered by a black man. Just like brittanee Drexel gang raped and murdered by black men and then fed to alligators. These are stories you don't hear. I don't know if it's a man bites dog thing or what but if s black college student says they found a noose or a banana it certainly makes national headlines.

Of course those stories often turn out to be hoaxes and unless the hoax is very high profile a la jussie Smollett you never ever see a retraction. They may have to print one by law but they don't have to put it on the front page where the original story ran. Certain websites do keep track of I age crime hoaxes but those are largely buried too.

This post may make it seem like I have a bad view of black people but I don't think that's the case. I know without a doubt that whites and all shades between the two get up to foul business and my intent is not so much to single black people out for crime as to single out the media outlets that downplay SOME crime and focus intently on other crime for reasons that aren't entirely clear to me.

Dude, I didn't read your post and think you have a bad view of black people. You're just stating facts that are being swept under the rug by Liberal Media constantly. It also underscores BLM's Hypocrisy as well.

Not that I'm advocating for it, but if you throw that thing at police you are forfeiting your life. I don't want to hear any bullshit about "Oh it's just a paint bomb!" Police don't know that. They don't know there's only paint inside and they can't count on it either. How do they know a BLM supporter wouldn't put some shrapnel or acid in there? Somebody WILL be killed if they start chucking those at police. I hope, for their sake, there's somebody among their ranks who will recognize the danger in that.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Four people — including a 17-year-old — were charged in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old girl who was found dead in a car in a Bojangles’ parking lot Saturday night in Raleigh, police said Tuesday night.

A juvenile petition and secure custody order for murder is sought for a 17-year-old in connection with the death of Veronica Lee Baker. Keyshara Michelle Deans, 19, Nezyiha Zamir Collins, 19, and Tyreek Qumay Rogers, 18, were all charged with accessory after the fact to murder, a news release said.

Deans, Collins, and Rogers were all taken to the Wake County Detention Center. There was no information available on their bonds.

Just after 8:15 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported finding a girl lying inside a car in the parking lot of the Bojangles’ at 3920 Jones Sausage Rd.

Comparing blm to the nazis is a little bit exaggeration but the key similarity and this is something everyone should be aware of is simply the ability to attack while hiding behind "ideology" to justify the attack

1 tonne cocaine bust here yesterday. Apparently the guys involved thought they could just take their boat out to a Chinese trawler and pick up a tonne of cocaine and no one would notice. With a lot of the smuggling routes being blocked due to the pandemic, I guess their options are limited.
