It's almost like the Silicon Valley bootlicker comment makes sense.Bioware is the definition of woke and has been for a long time. They saw cut scenes where serious shit was being discussed and Miranda's ass was taking up 60% of the screen and decided to edit the game to be less gratuitous.
Blizzard pretended to be woke (despite sexualizing their female characters just like BioWare has done). We saw how that played out. It's not a secret that men, in particular, who champion these silly woke campaigns tend to be the most toxically chauvinistic and insecure IRL.
I'm objecting to a part of a game being modified that became legend in gaming culture precisely because it was so comically gratuitous when nobody demanded that change. There was no reason to retroactively censor this. Similar to Blizzard, it comes off as a half-hearted, insincere attempt at scoring woke points. Over what? An ass? Something that is more objectified in the mainstream that at any point in history, including when the game originally released, on social media, and voluntarily, I might add, by women themselves? Most of whom are not being reimbursed? I'm reminded of this gem:The guy calling others beta is a grown man whining that Miranda's ass isn't taking up the whole screen during a cut scene about saving the galaxy. Meanwhile you can still go look at Miranda's ass in game any time you want and live out your fantasy. This is what you're crying about. Think before you post?
