Have you ever felt pain like this?

I tore my anterior talofibular ligament, calcaneofibular ligament, anterior tibialis tendon all in my lateral left ankle, shredded the synovial capsule and had osteochondral lesions on my talus (from the tibia smashing the talus with every step since there was nothing protecting the bone anymore and half of my foot wasn't held together). It hurt and at times I had to resort to crutches, but I was still keeping with a very active lifestyle and mostly i wrapped it with an ace bandage and got on with my life. I had no idea it was that serious until years later after I'd made it much worse. Even after my first surgery my dipshit surgeon didn't even know about the torn ligaments, he must've thought my mri was a map of Argentina, idk.

I'm sure you didn't do any of that shit but you can tear a ligament in your ankle or foot or have other serious injuries and not even realize it. There are so many different components holding your foot together that you can still function with a tear or injury like that, and you really can't judge it based on how it feels. I thought torn ligaments would feel like when I blew out my knee, turns out they're all made different (and mine are made like shit).

If it's something that recurs and its always in the same spot, there's probably something going on there. All things considered, while it might nothing serious, getting an mri can't hurt. Rule shit out. Just don't use my doctor, he'll get mad at you and tell you to wear different shoes when you tell him the surgery didn't fix anything.

I sometimes get pain like that in my foot when I’m walking
Sometimes I have to sit down right then or limp my ass to the nearest bench
But mine is from neuropathy, nerve damage from long term chemotherapy

Has anyone mentioned it is probably super AIDS yet...?

Welcome to being old.

And broken bone may not be the best analogy, some of them hurt a lot and others not at all. Like I've never been kept from sleep by a broken bone and in 15 years of football I've had a few.

I get a stabbing wild pain somewhere about once a fortnight. Probably AIDS as intimated above.

Honestly hurting my back or neck is worse than all of it.

That place is called Dagestan.

Send him 2-3 years and forget.
You sure about that...?

Still got some very subtle soreness. I can notice it if I concentrate on it.

After doing more research I think it could be a tailor's bunion.

I have a very uncomfortable hard desk chair I work from and I sometimes sit cross legged on it. This makes the most sense although only one of the symptoms listed are consistent with mine.

My foot identifies as a woman's foot I guess.

100% it's actually a scientific calculation based on amount of alcohol, ownership and current desires of the actual owner of the alcohol to consume it...... So your dad must have pretty bad gout.......??

Anyone else think it's a little strange Americans seem to be most effected by gout and link it to drinking. Yet Americans don't really drink that much.

Just an observation, hardly scientific.
