Has there ever been an in-the-guard gnp fighter better than ortiz?

Pre back/neck surguries he was just an absolute monster in the guard. He didn't even try to pass, just loaded up the elbows and punches. I also can't remember him ever being submitted while in guard. It was special and i find it strange guys don't study and implement his offensive guard game more.
