I did it once unintentionally while training, it was a one handed choke with a hip toss and I thought my partner was joking while he laid unconscious on the floor.

That was back in the day when training methods were a little less sophisticated and you expected to be punched, kicked or choked if you asked a question about either. I think I fluked it so there was no need for questions lol, only held the choke for a few seconds but the impact of the fall might've winded him.

Forearm chokes happened long ago, but are rare. Not sure if Randleman has a win by it. In my brief grappling career (as in training) I choked out some small younger guy with it too. Feels like you gotta be careful to not injure the throat.
