Interesting story about money and women. Note, this is obviously only one case and doesn't represent the world at large. Still, I always found it interesting, and it definitely shaped me.

One my uncles came to America and was essentially homeless at first. He worked as a doorman for an apartment building and would sleep on the lobby floor or outside the building. Around 30 years later, he owns a bunch of residential and some commercial real estate around NYC and makes well over a million a year from the rents alone. He and his wife live a big house and in an expensive neighborhood in NYC... and his wife despises him because she wanted a simple life and to spend a lot of time with him. But he was always too busy with his various businesses. Their home is pure hell.

On the flipside, another uncle was a taxi driver, was proud of his laziness, and essentially retired at 45ish because his kids helped pay for him. His wife absolutely adores him to this day and is the submissive, Indian village girl most men would kill for.

And this seems to be somewhat of a trend... at least with Indian households om familiar with.

Maybe it's a different culture. Personally I have seen men get fucked over repeatedly for decades - Friends, family, co-workers. I'm never putting myself in a position to have at least half of everything I've worked for my entire adult life. The problem isn't women, it's the laws that were established when women didn't work and haven't been updated since.

The old saying: "You can lose a lot of money chasing women but you'll never lose women by chasing money" is 100% true.
