She strikes me as someone who's on a collision course with a career ending KO.

She's good, but she also REALLY relies on her rehydration weight to bully opponents around. You can see the effects of it in her footwork; she trips quite a bit because her body is carrying around a significant amount of extra weight after the weigh-ins. She sloppily throws haymakers every fight.

I mean, props to her for being successful, but I think she's going to become sharkfood in the Top 10.

I always respected her. Since her fight in the contender series. She was very exciting in her first few UFC fights. I've been holding the front against the incels of this site on all her threads since she became "gunshy" after her injury and wasn't aggressive as before. I see that most of the people that were always shitting on her dissapeared now. No way to shit on that performance I guess.

To be honest, the fight played to her strengths. Her ground and pound has always been vicious. That's how she got the stoppage in the contender series against that girl and against Hannah Cifers in the UFC. Ribas going for a leg lock was a horrible idea. And she has a great killer instinct, among the best in WMMA. When she sees her opponent hurt, she goes all in for a finish. That's how she got the stoppage against Gillian Robertson and JJ Aldrich.

That's the Maycee Barber that made a fan, and she showed up tonight again. She was one of the most exciting WMMA fighters in the UFC when she signed, and I'm hoping that she is going to be once again since this fight.

Ribas is a very tough opponent and she stopped her. I'm happy for her. Haters gonna hate.
