That's still a tiny fraction of his followers, AFTER BEING FOUND TO BE A RAPIST BY A COURT OF LAW.

If it was "over," he'd have lost tens of millions of his followers by now. Hope it's true, because I'd love to never have to see or hear about him again, but seriously, that big of a legal finding and that minimal of an impact tells me he'll be around for much longer than he deserves to be.

That's true of Twitter, as a whole, as you can see by the fact that EVERYONE famous has over 35% of followers who are fake. It's a giant, fake media propaganda and misinformation platform, just like Elon wants it to be, and wanted it to be since he decided to take it over.

He's been losing followers for years bro. Athletes with legacy who are relevant gain followers they don't lose them.

He's a scam and the people have realized it.
 
The graph is ridiculous. It might be Instagram removing a few percent of bots. As long as Conor is in the media, he is not going to lose that many followers. A lot of them are haters anyway.

He hasn't won a relevant fight in about a decade. He's been found to be a sex offender by a court of law.

He's lost less than 3% of the followers he had at his all-time peak, despite that.

Celebrities who have become irrelevant don't continue to have 46 million followers. Sorry, but you sound like a Trump supporter saying "THIS is the devastating revalation that will prove the 2020 election was stolen" over and over and over again. I hope your wishes about Conor come true, but there's no indication that they have, or will any time soon.

Many people who blew up during specific eras still sit on massive follower counts, but their "reign" has ended. They often face a "stagnation loop": they don't lose enough followers who are too lazy to unsubscribe to look unpopular, but they don't gain new ones because the algorithm no longer prioritizes their content."

If you are rising in popularity like Topuria, Islam and Khamzat and you will gain followers.

If you have a legacy like Khabib you gain a 100k followers a week.

Conor has a zombie account at this point because he has nothing to offer in terms of legacy or likeability. He's just a washed up never that great. In that category.
 
I think it's more about bot accounts being banned and also more people quitting socail media then someone just hitting unfollow and staying on IG.

Last monday I went to the gym with a buddy of mine and he told me McGregor was the GOAT and he had the best boxing ever and of he fought Khabib just one year sooner he would have demolished him.
