Has, Conor changed the narrative?

Nothing can prevent him from that lost, enough of the excuses.

Improvement is the remedy for every loss.

Tried and tested.

Ha ha, beautiful!

We all know that, Conor came up with a big book of excuses after, Khabib beat him. Balloon foot, lack of focus, worst camp of his life, and probably some other shit. It seems that the lack of focus excuse is the one he is sticking to and the UFC (Dana) is helping to re-enforce that through the first episode of UFC 246 Countdown.

Money and fame got to him and he wasn't focused on Khabib. I'm sure if he beats Cowboy he will say he was focused and this is his true self. Seems like his fans are picking up on this and using it as their excuse to why Conor got dominated and humiliated.

Funny how Conor couldn't focus on the biggest fight of his career after supposedly having the best camp of his life (it was a war) and coming back for the love of competition. He even admitted that he was refocused on MMA after doing other things before UFC 229. He is literally repeating the same lines.
We are talking about the same guy that is saying Khabib is "trembling" and "afraid" over a rematch.

Everything that comes from his mouth is just pure BS

i don't think most rational fans believe the excuses. This is nothing unique to Conor, many fighters do it after losses. Always coming up with BS excuses on why they lost. This is no different.

No it is not changing the narrative. Winning will help to change it though. A win against Cowboy that gets blown out of proportion and all of the sudden "He's back"

I wouldn't be surprised if the UFC makes a Khabib rematch after this to cash in.

I think they will fight in December

If Conor takes little/no damage on Saturday I think they will make him and Dustin

If he looks/feels really good? Might book Justin

But I do think they will book that fight if Khabib and Conor wins their upcoming fight/fights

I don't like excuses, but I like this calm Conor and If he continues to carry himself like this I will fully respect him, though probably not support him

It was obvious from the 1st press conference that Connor was in no shape to face Khabib. The guy was all over the place. I don't know if it was from drugs or stress but the moment I saw him on that stage babbling like a lunatic I figured he was done for. This time round it's harder to judge because as far as I know he hasn't done any press. It actually makes things more interesting. I'd like to see him make a comeback because he's been entertaining as shit in the past, and more entertainment is always a good thing.
I think that was him realizing Khabib wasn’t intimidated at all, their stare down afterwards was hilarious Conor looked terrified, refused to look him in the eyes and kept looking away. He looked like the kid in high school who ran his mouth but hoped a teacher would show up before the fight started.

Nah, those who know and have a decent common sense have wrote this guy off. He’s an alleged rapist and elder abuser. That’s some things that stick and as the saying goes....
“People don’t forget”

I think the only people championing for him right now are UFC promotion shills and rabid fans who are holding onto the image of him a few years ago.

well he sure as shit isnt going to say that his time is up and he is just here to collect a paycheck from the goofs

*bigbrain*

My use of commas is pretty atrocious.

I like to add them in randomly.

In his interview with Ariel last September Conor also said he was too committed in the gym for his fight with Khabib. So which is it?

Could be. Might be that he didn't bother training much thinking he'd be able to skate by and then had a rude awakening.
