Hardest hitting 145 pounder?

Incoming nuthugging Ilia fanboys.

Probably Emmett for true 1 punch KO power. Ilia is like Manny - hits hard enough but it is the speed and combinations that are the killer as opposed to true 1 punch crushing power. He hits guys with shots they don't see and stuns them and finishes up with follow - Emmett hits you flush you're going to la la land,

so hard punches isn't = haymaker to you? then why are you saying Stephens hit him with a haymaker? it was a left hook that wasn't particularly good. yet he still dropped Emmett way harder than Ilia ever did. Ilia only dropped him once. you said he was dropping him all over the place. that didn't happen. why don't you address that part? that part you lied about.

i said jabs because you acted like Ilia didn't connect with haymakers. bro was hitting him with big punches all night long. i don't know why you bring up haymaker if it doesn't mean just a big punch, because Stephens punch was a left hook that ruined Emmett, it wasn't a haymaker.

nobody said Ilia wasn't a superior puncher, but he does not have superior power to Stephens. you guys keep confusing being good, or being accurate or being techincally sound with BEING POWERFUL. it is NOT the same.

just look at your gif of Ilia dropping Emmett, and him getting up immediately and not even really dropping more just a stumble. and then look at what one glancing left hook did to Emmett vs Stephens. and tell me Stephens doesn't look like he hits WAY harder.

You've been here since 2003 and don't know what a "haymaker" is? A large, generally sloppy looping shot, in fact I would say the very gif you just showcased fits the criteria like a glove, a generally horribly telegraphed looping arm punch, the complete and total opposite of the crisp, technical straights and hooks showcased from Topuria directly above in the gifs I shared.

You seem to be confusing fighters who throw 90% heat to make up for the fact that they lack the technical skills of a striker like Topuria, Topuria has no reason to put 100% into every shot, he has the power to hurt you with every shot he throws and the technical ability to win in multiple ways, Jeremy Stephens was a sloppy brawler with huge power who was fun to watch but extremely one dimensional, he threw everything from the hip, generally looping with every intention of ending the fight, Topuria doesn't need to that.

MMA math is foolish, we seen Anderson Silva eat absolute flush bombs from several strikers without blinking and then proceed to get dropped by Chael and KO's by a pawing left from Chris Weidman of all people, Stephens simply caught Emmett slipping right on the button with a looping left, it happens.
