Hardest hitting 145 pounder?

I think the topuria answers are wild. He's more precious than pure power. I put Conor in this category as well.

Probably Stephen's or emmett.

lots of people will say Ilia, but it's Jeremy Stephens, and it's not even close really. Ilia fought Emmett and beat him by decision, Stephens fought Emmett and literally almost ended his career.

it's just that people confuse hitting hard with being good. Ilia is a much better fighter, but Jeremy Stephens is a monster when it comes to power at 145lb.

I was tossing the names back & forth and this post sets it right

Stephen’s is our guy here

JBG disciple bless

I met him after UFC signed him and couldn’t handle how thick the back of his damn neck was for being a LW

Same goes for RDA when I randomly found him walking around shopping with his family. Nobody even knew who he was or bothering him and I pointed him out to my wife. And this was right after he got the belt by throttling Pettis. His neck was thick as fuck and I was thinking how is this possible for a 155lb fighter LoL

And I use to fight and corner fights all through the midwest for a long time. Those necks stood out to me LoL

Gotta be josh emmet and I think he has the best chin also ..

Whatcha his fight vs illia you can tell who hits harder look at his kos emits overhand is the most devastating weapon at 145 if he can land it.. guy ha always Ben underated because his striking isn't the most technical but when he breaks he always comes out on top .

i never thought dos anjos would be a champ after this brutal ko loss by stephens. Dos anjos physique 'magically' changed after this.

I still remember that RDA fight because everyone at whatever bar/restaurant I was at thought RDA doing the Tweety Bird face was hilarious.

You also appear to be extrapolating hitting hard equals winning, since Stephens beat Emmit that he hits harder.

But the fact is that Stephen landed his death punch before Emmit was able to.

Conor doesn’t have 1 hit KO power unless you include Aldo who literally ran into Conor’s Hail Mary fluke KO that TKO’d him, you can thank BJM’s knee drop for the official Aldo KO.
Complete troll job or needs to step away from the sport and follow something easier. Try tennis, ooh or basketball, make it in a hoop u get points! Way easier to understand.

Just another Conor living in the mind of another Sherdoger

It probably was Stephens at the time, he might be a meathead but he gave the exact reason why he's a harder hitter than Conor - when he knocks people out they don't f'n move. Conor is a big puncher but his KO power is massively overstated, the whole touch of death thing was a load of horse shit - he's got a total of two clean KOs in his career.

what? they both beat Emmett. the comparison is that Ilia hit Emmett plenty of times and he went to decision, Stephens hit Emmett once and he went down hard, then swarmed him, shut him down and shattered his face nearly ending his career.

that's the comparison, THE DAMAGE between when he fought Ilia vs Stephens. i don't care who won, it's about who shattered Emmett's face and nearly ended his career and who was just another routine L on Emmett's record.

Its probably Emmett.

Yeah, elbowing a KO´d opponent on the ground isnt exactly proof he is the hardest hitter, proves he had poor sportsmanship.

he also dropped Emmett hard with a punch before he did all that. i don't know what's the problem, the ref is the idiot who didn't stop the fight after the first punch that dropped Emmett and the ensuing gnp. he let it go, Stephens nearly DQ's himself with an illegal knee that misses and then KO's him with the elbows that broke his face. Ilia dropped Emmett too and Emmett got right back up. he also hit him with a combination to drop Emmett. Jeremy hit him with 1 left hook and he went down and immediately went into fetal position.

The point isn't that Jeremy doesn't hit hard, it's that Emmett might hit even harder (might) but didn't land clean on Jeremy the way Jeremy did on him.

what's the proof he hits harder? that he knocked out Bryce Mitchell? the other guys Emmett has KO'd aren't exactly tough. Stephens is 1 of the only few to stop RDA with strikes and he did it with 1 punch. even Fiziev didn't KO him the way Stephens did.

It is definitely not McGregor. His power is a largely myth, even at FW.
