I'll just say that your list is full of recency bias, and any "hardest punchers ever" list that doesn't include Carwin, Manhoef, or Vitor is fairly inaccurate.

Well, it's simple. Carwin doesn't hit harder than Ngannou, but he's definitely number 2. If Manhoef spent more time at WW, he'd be the pick over Hendricks, but he doesn't hit harder than Hendo or Rumble, same for Vitor. They're both at least top 3 in their divisions though.

Apart from WFW, which should have gone to Cyborg, I don't think any of your choices are wrong per se, but I think cases could be made for Conor McGregor and Paul Daley in some too-close-to-call-divisions.

Conor is more of a case of hitting the right spot, and capitalizing with a finish. He's got one out cold KO in the UFC against Aldo, whereas Stephens has many where the dude simply cannot recover. Same with Johnson, the thing is he doesn't have the skill to land often enough. Daley is a good mention though.

Idk mj has some one hitter quitters at LW. He dusted Dustin putting him out cold. The only 2 other contenders I can think of are Justin and Conor.

My heart wants to say Carwin but objectively Frank is the right answer. Carwin was a stronger guy and during the "let the bodies hit the floor" run he was on another level, but if you could time warp 2010 Carwin to fight 2020 Frank and they both started throwing bombs I feel like Shane would get slept.

The difference to me is that Shane got to show off his KO power because guys WOULD trade with him - no one is ever willing to actually trade with Frank and he still usually finds a way to detonate a bomb.
