From what I hear, our Thanksgiving dinner is pretty much your Christmas dinner anyway, which we don't take nearly as seriously for our own Christmas. But it is nice to have 2 large celebrations to end the year, usually allows us to split things with partners and families. Like, "We'll do Thanksgiving at mine and Christmas at yours."I wish we had a similar holiday in the UK… can’t beat a roast dinner!
And speaking of American vs UK stuff, roast dinner is one thing, but have you ever have a deep fry turkey?
