I really appreciate the sentiments from the Sherbros.

My old boy did have a good day in fact. He was happy to be around family, and he had one last feast of turkey. He is quiet right now. I think the festivities took a little outta him. He’s gonna sleep in my daughter’s room tonight since she hasn’t had much time with him while she’s away at school.

Tomorrow will be rough, but we don’t want him to suffer. Thanks again.

Two massive plates of turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes,, corn , stuffing, gravy and cornbread, and then a fat slice of pecan pie. Very basic but very delicious. Worst part of the day was the Cowboys winning, but then the Chiefs also lost so it almost evens out. About to hit the gym and start working it off lol.

I've got a duck about to go in the oven, I made a cherry orange port sauce, did a potato leek gratin, roasting some Dijon broccolli and roasted fennel with lemon and parmesan.

Have two turkeys in the freezer but that's for Kissmas!

I think husband took some, he's having a bit of a lay in.
Doing a bubble and squeak today with the leftovers which is pretty British Boxing Day fare but why not?
I always enjoy the potato and leek gratin over the main event meat. The lemon Parmesan fennel worked out nice considering the duck, cherry sauce and gratin are quite rich.
