Im just here in the US knowing damn well im in the best country in the world living an almost care free glass is half full kinda life

I would think the US would be higher really but too many people focusing on the negative that isn't impacting their daily life rather than spending the time and energy in their surroundings

Happiest country in the world has 10.1 percent unemployment rate

Im not sure if these 2 things correlate

They obviously factor in other things.

Canada in the top 100 is laughable. Come to Canada some time and talk to people.

No one here is happy after the shit that's gone on here the last 10 years.

these ratings are awful.

everybody seems miserable every time i go to the scandinavian countries or to "first world" places.
everybody seems overjoyed, chill, good vibes when i go to shitholes.

been to norway, people were stressed about their investments
been to argentina, people that lost their job went dancing every night and were planning a trip in the mountains
been to america, oh where is out country headed
been to mongolia, dudes living in a yurt in the middle of nowhere ended every night with singing together, watching the milky way moving across the sky, were happy they had a good trip with the horses

Key post right here ^^^^^^

This report didn't go around the world asking people "How do you feel today?" or "How happy are you?"

It aggregated data on sociopolitical/economic factors that one could reasonably assume would lead to happiness.
