Do you have video of you performing a hang or from the floor power clean? I wouldn't recommend doing it every day but it can be done quite frequently, with positive results, using proper technique.
I don't do it everyday, but I do it every other day, and it's really fun (to me, I feel more accomplished hang power cleaning heavy weight than DLing and squatting heavy weight).
I have a feeling that some gym bro told the TS that he saw Usain Bolt doing hang cleans on YouTube, and TS decided to throw them in on his chest/arm day (everyday).
