Nah I don't know if I could continue on with my day if I didn't
It's just seems like one of those things that you wouldn't think about unless you didn't....or... Maybe you spend a lot of time in men's restrooms.

I am a bit of a clean freak and though some say I spend alot of time in the bathrooms I can promise you I am simply comparing sizes at the urinal and thats it...

This isn't the war room, you can compare them however you want lol

Handshake for new folks, and handshakes for those in superior positions.

Fist bump for newer friends

Handshake/dap/hugs for the oldest of homies

Nothing for strangers or those who smell/look dirty

I prefer handshakes. Not the bone-grinding variety, but a firm grip. Fist bumps seem a lot less formal, and not in a good way.
I just think a handshake conveys more respect

Fist bump/palm slap for my BJJ bros. Handshake for civilians. :)

Neither if I can avoid it

Roman if I get off first

I've broken my right hand a lot of times and my first impression of you is not dependent on if you grind my bones together.

You could just offer your hand up like the dainty maiden you are then. Then giggle and say ''enchanté.'

Fist bump in professional situations

Handshake among friends and loved ones

I would totally rather someone takes me by the fingers and courtsy than engage in a who's the alpha contest with a stranger. I'm 43 and well past needing to prove anything to anyone. I also don't really like being touched by strangers much at all really. I don't want to fist bump for the same reasons.

What can I say . Doing manly shit for years has left me with hands that hurt all the time.

I'm old school. I look a man in the eye and shake his hand. If I'm seated, I stand first.

This. And a good firm grip and shake, not to hard or too soft. If it's a lady in an introduction a nice gentle squeeze.

You'll be waking up in Suplex City if I reach out to shake your hand and you offer me a fist bump.

Pre Covid: Fist Bump
