International Hamas launches surprise attack on Israel; Israel has declared a state of war. Vol. VII

The history of modern international law and its weakening is broader than MENA and longer than the past 40 years. There are a lot of genocides, complicities, war crimes, human rights abuses and massacres to go around. This is not a uniquely US/Israel issue. It's structurally built in.

The idea that Israel/US destroyed international law is just not reality

There is a real genocide happening in Yemen where the Saudis finance a war so that Sunni muslims can overtake the power of the Shia muslims. Arund 400k victims, of whom nearly 100k have been children, and none of the frenetic pro-Hamas posters in this thread care about. If you ask them if they care they will lie and say yes, but actions speak louder than words, none of them is freaking out in the yemeni thread about genocide supporters, none of them are crying their eyes out in sleepless nights over 100k dead yemeni children, none... Those guys are the worst of the worst, like real life POS who only show compassion if people from their own suffer!

So you're saying that the US shielding an ally committing the worst scale massacre of the 21th century by vetoing any stop of said massacre for more than a year, and going against the highest jurisdiction on the world in the ICJ, and letting his ally slander the UN and even straight up attack militarily, going for that against all the other countries including the security council, has not been the most major blow to international law we have seen.

What a joke. Arguing freakin details while kids are starving and blown to bits everyday for more than 400. That's why I don't post much. Self absorbed and lacking awareness

Were it israeli kids you'd bet we wouldn't argue the intricacies of the details of law and such. Just straight up outrage. But Arabs ? Pfffft let's talk about some intricacies or some shit

Which member did veto the stop of the war (let's not say genocide, killing 200K arabs cant count as one of course, sic.) repeatedly for 14 months ?
This is a very biased and delusional way to frame this showing concern only for the dead on one side and ignoring the fact that if Palestinians had not entered Israel to enact genocide (let's say genocide because entering a country with the express intention of butchering, murdering, kidnapping and raping everyone you come into contact with could not be anything else) then what occurred over the next 14 months would not have happened.

To frame it how you have demonstrates you only care about the lives on one side.

When the kids who have lost mother, father, sister, brother, grandparents, whose family members alive have been amputated and crippled, who had to carry on their back their injured siblings to the hospital because ambulances are a target, who have seen their relatives bleed to death in front of their eyes, ho had to scrape flour on the ground to survive, who lived and were treated like animals

When those dozens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of kids come for revenge in 20 years, don't give the "why they hate ussss" line.

Be consistent with your bullshit from today.

And before the "oh you're emotional" rant, let me tell you: damn yes I am. Ask yourself why you are not, freakin inhumane monsters

Good strawman-ing because the other guy absolutely slaughtered you with reasoned debate.

This thread would be less of a shit show if you guys who gaslight about nazis whilst blaming the Jews for all the words problems did in fact "not post much" as you falsely proclaim.

Good job on not posting much

Good job on not being a deragend lunatic

Yep. I am saying that. Even accepting worst case scenarios for the Gaza/Israel conflict.

The efficacy of international law has been dead a long while. The UN was DOA in its construction and has been a farce from day one. If you want to look at international law pre-UN, it gets even worse, especially with regards to genocide and population replacement and terra nullius colonisation. International law is just a means of the big countries avoiding going to war with each other while they dominate and slaughter everyone else.

People think the UN is a shield to the world, it's not. It is a means of dominating through neo-colonialism. Feature, not a bug.

That's a recent one, also US involved. Russia and Chechen wars had some crazy figure like 300k civilians combined.

Millions died in the Chinese reformation

As far as attacks against the legitimacy of the international courts - https://www.hrw.org/news/2002/08/03/us-hague-invasion-act-becomes-law

I think Koya takes what I say as an attempt to minimise the conflict, I think he just lacks an appreciation for how unfathomably shit the world has been.

On that we agree. It was gaslighting of the highest order from the start. Difference is the hypocrisy is for everyone to see now.

Dude I was telling you this the moment it came up 9 months ago.

I never disagreed with it. I disagree with you not seeing that israel is making obvious and undeniable what the US has built so long to make subtle for perception of the masses

9 months ago I also said that israel's goal is to seize Gaza, everyone called me crazy and here we are, they are enacting a plan to seize the northern part of the strip.

What I didnt do was make a definitive statement or attach a label about the intentions of Israel a few months in. Too many variables and opaque information sharing. But I did say I was open to the genocide case being proven. It's not like I called you crazy, a bigot, or wrong or said it was not possible.

I also speculated with you that Likkud may be up to no good re one state solutions and potential land grabs. I didnt shoot that down.

Wouldnt be surprised if they turned North Gaza into an occupied No Man's Land for years while expanding in East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

the yemeni genocide is also a horrific crime against humanity and the saudis should be arrested and tried for the same crimes. take a wild guess at who the yemenis support regarding israel & palestine.

Their fellow Muslims of course. Why would they ever support a group of people they want dead?

- guy who thinks the UN (the governing body responsible for israel even existing) is a terrorist organization
Who is winning the who can create the most strawman arguments out of you stubnose and your terrorist supporting chums?

I never said the UN is a terrorist organisation

The UN has employed terrorists though (through UNWRA), the UN has facilitated terrorist actions through UNIFIL failing to do their job and turning a blind eye to terrorists on israels border.

The UN is completely compromised and not fit for purpose.

Perhaps you could try addressing people's actual arguments rather than inventing strawmen to blow down?

What do you say? Give it a try? Debate in good faith for just 24 hours even?
