We have been told for over a year that if you don't celebrate the extermination and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, you're antisemitic.
You're a weirdoIt still doesn't need to be posted 3 times across 2 pages does it?

Timestamped.
You had someone who wanted a two-state solution, a ceasefire, and bringing the hostages home yet you as an American from the Middle East were "uncommitted."
You had your chance and your choice. You made it and with every choice there are consequences and sometimes those consequences are TERRIBLE.
I pray for our collective future.
With Biden and Trump going for 2nd terms, muslim and pro-palestine voters were between a rock and a hard place. Shades of grey. I can see why they might protest vote.
However with Haris going for a first term there was a chance for them to push her policy post election once Biden was gone; she is not the ideological zionist that he is. She would need to eventually run again, there was some leverage there.
With 2nd term Trump, no chance - game, set, match. Too important to his coalition.
It was a bad move, not because she earned that vote, she didnt. Rather because it was not a pragmatic move to mitigate harm to Palestinians. Even if the immmediate difference appears marginal, people live and die in those margins
i'd also say, though, that ultimately, it's not clear what's in the best interests of everyone long term. i'm not sure what ideological zionist means. With Biden and Trump going for 2nd terms, muslim and pro-palestine voters were between a rock and a hard place. Re "ideological zionist", people support the Israel project for multiple reasons - national security, moral (Nixon), religion (Huckabee), electoral politics (Trump). Biden was so in on the first three reasons he was willing to lose an election over it. He dug in as a matter of principle and has been amongst Israel's biggest supporters for 50 years.i'd also say, though, that ultimately, it's not clear what's in the best interests of everyone long term. i'm not sure what ideological zionist means.
at the end of the day, it's in everyone's interest to have a secure israel and that only happens with an acceptance of their right to exist, as a jewish state.
i don't know that harris was more likely to quickly end the war, or end it in a way that paves a way for peace.......
