The reality is a lot of people get a taste of the DINK lifestyle and find it hard to make the sacrifices necessary to have kids. At the end of the day these decisions are up to the couple in question but I think we need to realize it's not merely an affordability issue and it's almost certainly not because of this one monetary issue that if addressed will cure all fertility related bottlenecks.
