art of the deal!

First page of this thread is a great example of why it's hilarious some people think Sherdog leans right.
This isn't an accurate sample: 1) the righties on here are humiliated by the Trump numbers and Trump economy, so they don't want to contribute here; and 2) the right wing echo chamber hasn't told them the party line yet so, they don't know how to respond.

Nobody posting on these boards is old enough to remember a worse start to a Presidency, economically.

You have to wonder if there are any sane republicans left in congress that are willing to step up and strip his ability to levy tariffs before everything comes crashing down. If we do end up in a recession with bare shelves due to no imports, you have to think republicans are going to get absolutely slaughtered in the next election cycle.

Don't make that assumption. Never, ever underestimate the ability for people to vote against their own best interests. I don't want to assume your age but remember in 2008 during The Great Recession and after the War with Iraq for 7 years at that point? All of that and when the Presidential elections came around 45% of the country still voted for the McCain/Palin ticket. The last time I remember seeing an odd map (especially for a Presidential campaign) was 1976 when California voted Repub and Texas voted Dem.
