For me it does. I don't feel my age. Tbh I don't look my age. That's from people that i met randomly say at times.

I'm 35 and it feels like it starts now. Now you see what you're made of.

For me it was about 38 that it really hit, with the body starting to feel everything I put it through up until then. Then around early 40s was all the mental stuff, just over thinking everything (midlife crisis mode) then it starts to taper down again when you realize this isn’t the end and that there is a long way to go, if you play it right.

I believe midlife is right around 38-40. Everyone is different of course, for me it was looking at the my family’s history. Healthy or not, the men in my family average 75-83yo.

That’s why I look at it as starting my second life. If I play it right thats another 30-35 years to go, the last 1up is currently in use..

I will be turning 41 in October. While I don't look my age, I *feel* my age - not only physically, but I am becoming increasingly alienated from pop-culture and my ability to relate to younger people. I am surrounded by young people almost every day (I'm a university professor.... much like @lakersfan45 ), and they seem like alien creatures to me. I often find myself saying "When I was your age..." to my students, and making bad dad jokes.

Something that really hit me was finding out that I am classified as middle aged, and that I am older than the median age of the population.

And the new kids coming in do not know how to converse. I was describing it to my wife who then explained the whole gen z stare thing.

I’ll try to connect with my students for example a student will have a deftones shirt and I’ll be like “hey I like the deftones I saw them live a few times, blahblah” and they just nod at me like I’m a weirdo for acknowledging something on their shirt

I'm old and realize it. But most people think I'm younger. I rented a car to a lady the other day. She was 41. I'm 46. She was going to a concert and I asked who she's seeing. She says well you are too young to have heard of them. I ask how old do you think I am? She guessed 28. Told her my age and she was shocked and asked what do I eat. That felt pretty nice.

Currently fucking a 22year-old, before her it was a 32 year old and before her a27 year old. Got a date tonight w a 36 year old and another date Monday w a 27 year old. My kids think its crazy, they say dad you are an old ass bald man what is wrong with these women. I have no idea

Just try to take good care of yourself lads, you don't have to be perfect. Try to keep your indulgences to a minimum but don't be afraid to enjoy life a little bit. Moderation is important. Keep moving forward, be pragmatic.

I voted for Regan and I still feel strong and vigorous. Not like my prime but I can still get after it, exercise regularly cardio/weights. Still chasing tail too but I'm actually good at it now.

My kids are out and mostly on their own, I'm helping my youngest with law school. I love being a grandpa.
