I was in Brussels in 2016. I was there two weeks after the Muslims bombed the airport. The Belgian military was at places with full gear like botanical gardens and other public places. It was strange.
I stayed right on the Muslim side of the city in a nice hotel, right across the street was the non-Muslim side. The differences are stark. The Muslim side has graffiti all over old churches and architecture that go back centuries... it's disgusting. I was walking with a Finnish friend and 3 Muslim men tried to run us off the sidewalk by not making way. My Finnish buddy got against the building wall flat to make way. I was a bit tweaked about the situation as I dropped my shoulder and played Red Rover on the biggest one... (who I was bigger than). I think my "What the fuck is your problem" with my American accent startled them... that and I was thinking it may be fun to fuck these clowns up. I'm sure they saw my lack of giving a fuck about them. They retreated and my Finnish buddy was shocked telling me about how passive they are in Finland when shit like that happens. I told him most American men are not making way like that... we will either do what I did or stand there and see what they want to do. Perhaps the Democrat men would stand against the building and be submissive?
Brussels, the non-Muslim areas is a beautiful city with amazing sites and I would recommend it.
Places like this had fully equipped military out front.
