One Hendo was not fucking 50. Neither guys where in their prime. In fact it could be argued Hendo was in better condition then Bisping considering Mike had one eye effectively.

There's no guarantee of who GSP's opponent at Middleweight would have been had he followed through (and succeeded to that point) with TS's plan. It could have ended up being GSP v. Romero.

Would GSP have inserted himself into the fight for the vacant LW belt (First Khabib/Tony, ultimately Khabib/Iaquinta), or wait for the Khabib's first title defense (which was against Conor). Does Dana White want to bump Conor for GSP at that point?

And if Bisping didn't fight GSP, who would he have defended his belt against at that point? I remember Romero as the frontrunner. Maybe it doesn't matter

You're taking one soundbite from one instance. I can find some material from khabibs side and there was cause the people in Nevada came out with an opener after a fight could actually come to fruition.....and then the line was more massive than today. Khabib opened an enormous -400 from oddsshark.
Today khabib is - 260. Georges gets throttled today ( at 155) and gets it worse back then. I dont " hate " anyone. I dont think much of bisping, his unimpressive win streak before Chris got hurt and his unforgivable behavior as champ after beating Rockhold ( thanks to coach P).

Why can't you see this ? After to losing to a 170er 4 years off the shelf ( and arguably losing to an undeserving 47 year old), he then got finished for good by another fat welterweight.

GSP clearly cherry picked Bisping. On the other hand, I don't blame him, who doesn't pick up a winning lottery ticket when they see it on the road? I blame the UFC for giving a title fight to guy who'd never fought in the division and was retired for four years. But GSP, if someone offered me a relatively easy five million I'd take it. So would most people.

And cherry picking is what many fighters do. Anderson and half the UFC wanted to fight Conor, because money is money. You can't eat legacy, as many one rich and famous athletes discovered after they went broke (a depressingly large number, Google it -- lots of guys who made over $100 million in their careers who are now broke. How do you burn through $100 million?)

He never ducked, he just was not interested in defending belts. Which I completely understand. He of all fighters should have been given a pass by the UFC to challenge multiple belts but obviously they wanted him to defend and to secure the fight he had to agree to this. He should have waited for Khabib.

GSP had 9 title defenses and won the UFC WW belt twice. Not interested in defending belts? Maybe not MW, but its mostly a bunch of butthurt BJ fans who gave him shit about that. He didn't hang on to the MW belt forever and hold up anything as others claim. GSP/Bisping probably made the UFC a pretty penny too, so there's that.

He did all that with one Eye.
He faced a man who smashed him before on short notice. He won when absolutely everyone wrote him off.

He had his face split nearly in half from Silva and he came back stronger to win.

He took on a fearsome fighter in Henderson who flatlined him previously. He ate all that Hendo had and still won.
