its not a medical term. There is no real validated evidence about it.

The most fitting hypothesis at the moment is 1) insulin doping and 2) HGH abuse with very high doses.

Its not really a topic in medical studies. You would have to do autopsies etc. , group testing. Or what could be done is f.e. with suspected PED users measure the visceral fat at the belly, protocol potential organ growth while PEDs are used but well who would accept to be under such surveillance.

All very true. While there is no definitive cause, and exactly what causes it is somewhat debatable, how long it takes to go away once it appears is not debatable. Those who have it, have it. It can never not be there, show up for a few hours during a workout and then disappear, and not be there during a weight cut.

Although nobody can prove that it is infact a HGH gut you also can't prove that it is not either. To say otherwise you are just uneducated.

With that fact established, everyone's question and concern is what medical condition will make GSP's stomach to bloat that much, especially for an athlete that is in incredible shape all year around.

Actually you're the delusional one here if you think that someone's organs can grow in size and go back to normal within hours. Doesn't matter if it's GSP, George Bush, Hitler, the fucking Pope or anyone. Your organs growing so much it causes your stomach to visibly bloat out that much will not disappear in a matter of hours or days.

False. HGH gut is the increase in the size of organs and or fat stores surrounding the organs, and is linked to insulin abuse which has no MMA application.

It takes months to years to go away and in many cases can be permanent or semi permanent.

If I can show pictures within the timeframe of months/years with no gut showing then I can rule out HGH gut. I have shown pics taken within HOURS of each other showing no gut. Therefore I have factually proved it can not be HGH gut.

So now, educate me. How can it be HGH gut when it disappears in hours and is ONLY there during times of exertion.

So much stupid.

It would be alarming if we did not have absolute proof the video can't be showing HGH gut. It would be alarming if this was something new.

But this is not anything new, it has happened to GSP his whole career when he exerts himself.
And we do have proof, in the form of numerous pics showing no gut at all taken recently. HGH gut takes YEARS to go away if it even ever does.

Anyone who has posted here thinking this could possibly be HGH gut was ignorant. Ignorance is fine. Anyone who has posted here, learned the actual facts of why this can not be HGH gut, yet continues to claim it is stupid. Willfully so. That is not fine. But hey, I am an American, you have every right to be a moron if that's what you choose to be.
