Looks interesting. GSP is a nice guy and guarded, so might be hard to get a lot of his candid thoughts at time. But his book was amazing, not because it was an autobio strictly, but his tips on how to achieve success. Still will check out the doc at some point. But his other doc was not too great in the past (the striking truth) due to lack of footage. this one looks much better.

I am pumped to see this film but is it even going to come out here in the United states ?

Wake me up when this freaking show is finally on video on demand in the US of A.

They used his friends to film at time because they knew GSP is guarded. That way he had no idea.

This is what sherdog is all about , really that's it, everything else gets shit on

I will see it when i find a place to see it online. Primetime shows, countdown shows and documentaries about GSP is about 10 times more entertaining then his fights.

he's truly a freak, i had Jones at number 1 PFP but now i have GSP, years of beating top ranked fighters with rarely ever losing a round, and he has done it against big, small, lengthy, stock, power punches, wrestlers, and top BJJ guys. truly one of a kind

that's for sure

DNA of GSP is a freaking good documentary! The official UFC fight clips and press conf vids made it better. Striking Truth and Like Water on the flip side really sucked and shouldn't have been made.

I'd like to see a DNA of GSP sequel covering the Hendricks close bout and the 2nd ACL tear.

Watched the movie last night. Loved it. Biggest GSP fan in the world so no surprise.

The wolf clips were a bit cheesy. If you cut those out, the movie probably goes for about 60 minutes

What was really cheesy was....

SMALL SPOILER

When at the end of the documentary when they portrayed the GSP/Diaz fight as being the most epic war in the history of fighting with slow mo clips and overly dramatic music.

Loved the GSP/Condit stuff though. The showing of the fans outside the arena, showing GSP preparing backstage, Showdown Joe describing the crowd when GSP got dropped, his dad's reaction at cageside, the way they edited the highlights. Really good shit.

I also noticed during the highlights that for every punch/kick they added these loud smacking sound effects. Still don't know how I feel about that. Amusing though either way.

Best part of the movie though was when GSP was cussing and threatening Diaz from his hospital bed while being doped up on drugs.

It did seem like they put in fake sound effects for the fighting clips. The slow mo Diaz clips they showed had one punch from GSP from Diaz's back, and it looked really dramatic, but it just barely touched Diaz's lips or something.

Noticeably absent was Rory MacDonald.

2 docu's already. these won't age, GSP will remain a legend due to this stuff. I wish they'd make docu's of more great fighters.

I wish ESPN would do Sports Century on MMA fighters and characters, but they seem to pick subjects that have some negative aspect to call attention to.

UFC is on FOX now, and FSN has their Before the Bigs series. Maybe they could do some MMA people.

Why did Biography Channel decide to cover Randy Couture?

Just wonder why he is called Rush ? More like no rush at all fighting style

he didn't just pick up that nickname last year....its from when he used to rush to finish his fights in his early days. And he did finish a lot back then.
