GSP continues to be the greatest WW of all time by leaps and bounds

I always said it and people were saying Tyron Woodley would have crushed him at the time...

Skill for skill GSP just would just double these guys at will. Stay at range with teh superman jab and low kick for a 50 - 45

GSP still the goat and most dynamic fighter. The definition of mixed martial artist. Can strike, can takedown, can defend, can pass guard like no other, can control, can submit, can GnP. He could do it all.

Not to mention had flashy moves and spinning kicks that you don't see today's guys do.

Usman, Woodley and Colby all have wrestling but can't even pass guard man.

Don't meant to nut hug GSP lol but he literally embodied mixed martial arts. Was never one dimensional.

I love Leon and think he can reign as champ for long time. But prime GSP would have 50 - 45'd him.
 
GSP is truly something else. Tyron and Usman both were able to manage a few defenses but then they just lost it. WW is truly a shark tank but GSP beat not just one but two different generations of fighters. Usman, as great as he is, could not win against the new guys.

No fucking chance. At 42 years old, having fought just once in the last decade? By the way GSP has had double knee surgery.

Remember guys at 170lbs through 125lbs in UFC championship fights the record is 2 wins and 33 losses for fighters age 35 or older.

As is true with most fighters imo. It's always when they are gone that people appreciate them. During the reign it's nuttin but hate.
 
I remember when people said GSP was boring because he LNP, which he didn't, he was always advancing in position and controlling his opponents.

Seeing the fight earlier, I never thought keeping the fight standing could have been so boring.
 
GSP IS GOAT.

Who can say that won and defended the WW title on 2 different eras in the UFC? NO ONE. And he pretty much cleaned WW during his reign.

Pretty much this. The diversity of GSP's game is unmatched at WW and he did everything at an extremely high level. There's really no path for any of these guys to beat him. And yes, the Woodley nonsense was hilarious, especially after beating Till.

He beat Woodley, Colby x2, Leon, Strickland, RDA, Burns, Maia, Jorge x2, without getting Matt Serra'd on the way. So yes, he was, like I said, 3-4 more wins away from having an argument. The fact you took that level of issue with a post saying someone got derailed 3-4 fights from being at GSPs level suggests you need to get his nuts out of your mouth.
