**GSP confirms contract negotiations with UFC**

If UFC wants him their going to be paying more than Conor pay days lol

UFC should have gotten Under Armour as the sponsor. brand is hot as hell right now and achieving remarkable growth. that was the kind of sponsor the UFC needed.

Didn't their stock drop after Speith choked at the Masters? But yeah Under Armour has the best player in football in Cam Newton and the best player in basketball in Steph Curry and their stuff is nice and comfortable. UFC should have tried to get them.

would their styles negate each other? how could that fight play out?

edit: i would watch it.

Negate? Even old GSP is likely much, much better at everything. Plus he is bigger and stronger

The GOAT is back!

50-45's Lawler with ease.

I hope GSP goes to Bellator to make UFC regret doing the reebok deal. Then they will never do this shit again. If they are gonna be losing their big stars.

Not happening.

Either the UFC matches the money lost by the Reebok deal or no GSP.

UFC 200 could of went from 1.3 million to 2million with GSP.

Ugh. I hope he stays retired. I respect GSP's skills, and his tactical approach to MMA, but WW title fight's have been exciting since he left. No need to ruin that.

Damn you Reebok!!!!

I wonder how Reebok feels about this?
They have to know that this deal has only been viewed negatively in every way by MMA fans.
The same fanbase they were hoping to sell to.
Ironic isn't it? I avoid buying Reebok like the plague.

Shame on gsp for taking the spotlight from osp.
No other ST. Is allowed to get the shine huh George?

Just show up in your Under Armor gear and pay the fine.

You're making enough money for that GSP.

Come on!

Not happening.

What you think they're going to have to pay out

Under armour paid him 100k to walk out with their shirt...this was before "he's not coming to the press conference. He is in the ambulance"

wholly shit.

gsp and steph curry?? that would be two premiere athletes in fairly large organizations.

i think i read that the curry IIs were outselling lebron and kobe combined, and given teh reasonable price point coupled with positive reviews, that could very well be the case.

i am not hating on reebok at this stage, but i have always wondered what they really benefit from the ufc deal--sure, they get a ton of exposure, but teh ufc is easily attacked and teh deal sucks for the fighters.

reebok wasnt known for its apparel before teh contract, and it looks terrible that dana is sporting nike every chance he gets.

reebok was cool back in the day (shawn kemp, shaq, dominique wilkins, and teh pumps, kamakize and the like), but i thought reebok was focusing on hockey jerseys and skates.

in any event, the reebok deal was about money, whihc i get, but the atheletes are not benefiting, and i cant imagine that reebok is making a killing in newfound popularity.

I for one am shocked that gsp doesn't want to "play ball".

I'm am so shocked a guy who made 100k on a shirt doesn't want to make 5k for a shitty logo

Good for Georges. I hope he sticks to it even if it means he doesn't come back. Reebok deal doesn't apply to him, or he doesn't fight. Let Dana suck on that, knowing one of the greatest fighters of all time refuses to take a shitty deal.
