He out strikes him gets the take down and wins a UD. GSP doesn't get caught. Robbie's KO power is fading. He for Rory by accumulation not one shot. Condit took his best and didn't go out.

Robbies KO power is fading? Tha fuck? Because he didn't one punch KO Rory or Condit?

GSP might beat him but your reasoning sucks

Prime GSP beats Lawler more than he loses. Even prime GSP could be caught by something from current Lawler and Lawler is a finisher.

Current GSP is a complete question mark and Robbie has a great shot of beating him.

He will definitely maul him in the wrestling / grappling exchanges. Not sure about the striking though.

But GSP will win by controlling where the fight takes place. He is second to none.

GSP 50-45s him without any trouble. His timing on the doubles would be too much for Robbie.

I can see Robbie getting a round or 2. Maybe the 5th. GSP wins 3 or 4 rounds min. Robbie basically stole rounds 1 and 5 va Hendricks and GSP wouldn't let himself get robbed.

Stopped reading at "he out strikes him". Well no but I should have.

What makes you think Gsp is a better striker than Lawler?

He was out struck by Hendricks and caught by Serra and Condit.

He put on a striking clinic against Shields and Koschek but I think Lawler's striking is at a much higher level than those two guys.

His power is fading because he didn't ko condit?

Homie no one finishes condit, just ask Ellenberger

He beat Serra Hendricks and Condit. And Condit was robbed or at least out struck robbery.

if GSP out strikes Lawler it'd only be after 2 to 3 rounds of holding him down and doing nothing.

Shields arguably out struck him ffs

Prime Pierre (pre-USADA) shoots a double leg and controls Lawler on the ground for 5 rounds.

Current Pierre gets stuffed repeatedly before getting BLASTED on the feet by ruthless Rob.

There is a reason Pierre is having his coach call out lightweights and featherweights for him. He wants none of Lawler.

You give Robbie too much credit. He arguably lost to Hendricks twice and Condit and had a come from behind win against Rory after being down 3-1 on the score cards. I love Robbie but the law averages has not been applying to this guy.

GSP is a waay better striker than Lawler. C'mon man try a little harder next time.

Robbie has just been in two wars that is questioning if his prime is still current.

I think GSP will dry-hump him to win the majority of the time, but Robbie will get his too.

Speaking of robberies I think Gsp vs Hendricks was more of one than Condit Lawler.

Lawler did more damage to Condit than vice versa. It was a close fight with a clear winner if you go by the round by round scoring.

How does Gsp outstrike Lawler? Jab fest like vs Shields or takedown and control like he did vs Diaz?

He isn't going to consistently take Lawler down if he couldn't even take Diaz down in the later rounds of their fight.

Lawler has power, elite striking skills and elite tdd. He is a bad match-up for Gsp.
