Just to sum up what is going on ITT, we now have most of the left wing posters on here seeing a doggystyle sex drawing with faceless black and white line drawings and trying to make the argument that they don't think the cartoon would have consented to sexual activity with the other cartoon person that isn't even in the cartoon. Is this thing on? Since we're just building our own story about a line drawing, what if the other person was supposed to be Angela Merkel or Barrack Obama?

Some idiot made a tasteless cartoon and has probably since been fired. It's not illegal, there are no sex organs depicted in the drawing, she is not underage in her own country, nor in the country the cartoon was made, and most importantly, IT'S NOT REAL PEOPLE.

Doesn't every single one of the people ITT calling her a child rail against inadequate sex education for actual kids at like 11-12 on the grounds that "they're going to have sex anyway", and now the same people are outraged and think a 17 year old wouldn't possibly have sex unless it was rape.

The company didn't make the cartoon, some dude did. It's not illegal, but it is grounds for firing and that's about the extent of the outrage I can work up over a tasteless cartoon drawing.

An 18-19 year old in North America is a child for sure, but in some parts of the world that’s a grown woman. When I married my wife she was 19, and more mature than most 30 year olds I was dating in Canada.

I think no more than about five years in age difference is about right until you get older. So some kind of sliding scale but adults can do whatever they want and we’ve admittedly arbitrarily made that line 18

Again it depends on the culture too (and the individual of course). Young people in the first world grow up way too slow, and in most other cultures it’s the opposite. Obviously someone marrying a girl that could be his granddaughter is fucked up, but 10-15 year difference is nothing if the woman is mature for her age.
