Makes sense to me. Robocop lost, then went 5-1 in his next 6, getting just into the rankings. Bruno went 5-2 in his next 7, not quite getting into the rankings, even after beating Vettori out of them last month. They've both won a lot since the fight, but with the loser having the following record be just a bit stronger, and his results mattered just a bit more, there's no reason they can't revisit it now, especially as they're both fringe rank guys.

That makes it matter imo. The fact the fight sounds fun is just gravy.

I'm a huge fan of Robocop win or lose, would be awesome to see him get revenge. The guy is so close to being championship material with a few tweaks in his game. Even without them, he's still hell in the MW division, much better than the #14 where he is ranked in my opinion.

Have no idea how Brunno is unranked, 5-2, losing only to russians. Has looked really good lately as well.

Should be a hell of a fight. I think both guys are better than some of the ranked MWs and MW is getting stacked. Too bad I don't see a chance for anyone to beat Khamzat, but if he moves up or down, would be great to see who rises to the top.

I was about to disagree. . . . but good points actually. And it'll be fun regardless. Who you got?
On the one hand I think Robo takes it technically, but I could (obviously) see him getting clipped again, or gassing.

I agree, Robocop should be more technical and should be "winning until he lost," but Bruno's not The Hulk for nothing, so it's a lot of power to survive through early. Should mean that Robocop's gassing issue shouldn't be that bad here though, considering Bruno's own muscle makeup
