Too cool. If you could post a pic in this thread and tag me at some point, I'd appreciate it. I was thinking I wish I was close enough to take a look sometime.
Greg was a good dude and this will be a nice memorial to him.

That’d be awesome if some sherbro would go there themselves to check it out and see it and then share pics with all of us who aren’t anywhere near.

And yeah, I’d imagine another thread with it finished. Would be a nice way to pay respects. Hopefully some pics from the location as well.

I got the email earlier today.

What a great outpouring of care and support from a forum that can be ruthless and unforgiving sometimes. Great job by every single one of you who donated and what a selfless gesture by you all. Fuck yeah. Awesome news.

How long had he been a member? I feel like I remember him from my first account. Good call on the cherry blossom tree, just a beautiful tree.

2009 or so? I'm older, so I remember he was just a kid still home with the folks and his dog. A big husky or malamute or something along those lines. Quality human being from everything I ever saw/read. Good dude.
 
Sherdog is a very tight community. Thanks to all involved. Still hits me to see that Greg isn’t here anymore.
 
Damn always a bummer to hear about a fallen sherbro.

He passed only 10 days before one of my best friends who took his own life VERY unexpectedly. They were the same age too. Sad times. Never know when things can fall apart. Always keep your friends and family close
