Again they move up to select a player who likely would have still been there in the third round.
Haha, that is quite unfair for this year at least. He projects to be better in the NFL than college, still pretty young and all that good stuff. I wouldn't have done it, but I don't hate it either. On the draft industry consensus board compiled by PFN he was #17, on their own board he was #14. The Draft Network had him in the late 20's I think, but I don't like their rankings anyway. Also it might be related that the Patriots traded back after the Packers picked him, generally the Pats and Packers seem to like similar players. I'd have picked Broderick Jones, JSN or tried a trade back for Kincaid. Maybe even Gonzalez.
I'm excited for day two for sure. The first round was all kinds of wonky, there were only 17 guys at the draft and not even all of them got picked.

That also means there are lots of prospects left that could have been first rounders (this year) as well.
Here some guys per position:
TE (highly likely on day two): Mayer, Musgrave, Washington, LaPorta, Kraft, maaaaybe Kuntz in the third because he's a freak athlete.
WR: I'd love Jalin Hyatt, otherwise IDK. Wouldn't surprise me if they trade up for him btw.
CB: Obviously Porter Jr. still there, I don't know the others that much, but Packers are always good for a CB pick and a bunch of them are ranked high and are still available.
Safety: now I'd give Branch a shot, they also met with Quan Martin who could be there at 78.
Edge/DT (not likely, but who knows...): Hall, Adebawore, White etc. Lots of Edges still available in general; Benton maybe?
OL: Bergeron, Mauch, that center Schmitz (because Myers kinda sucks so far)
I don't really care about RB, if they like one they are going to pick him somewhere lol.
Fully expecting at least two playmakers today, one TE and one WR. I'd love Musgrave plus Jalin Hyatt, take a Safety or O-Liner in the third.
My somewhat realistic wish would be Hyatt, Musgrave and Martin. Or go and get Mayer.
