For me boxing wise it would be Joe Louis. Sorta insane that a man fighting in the 1930's had the punching power and technique that this cat had. Whole body was in almost every shot he threw as effortlessly as I have ever seen.

MMA maybe GSP? Seemed to make very few mistakes from a technique standpoint

If midget fighters count, then Mighty Mouse. Among manlets, I can’t think of any. Among men, Jon Jones.

Yeah, never heard somebody claim he is the greatest technical fighter of all time before
Oh in boxing circles he gets brought up quite frequently. His way of punching was pretty extraordinary. What's most interesting is I am not quite sure where he learned it as there was no one who really fought like that before him and arguably after him.

Made very few mistakes in the ring.

Not the most technical, but i think zabit deserves some credit from a technique standpoint. Also as others have mentioned, MM is up there for sure.

In boxing, check the AV...

In MMA, there was a time when I thought prime Rory MacDonald did everything the way it should be done...

Midgets tend to be more technical in general, so would be pretty silly to exclude them.

even in his own era he was not considered a technician. There are plenty of writers on Joe Louis from his era. Guys like Bert Sugar spoke on his grit and his extreme power. I’m not saying this to try and argue cuz I love seeing old school boxing debates but come on dawg, he was not a crazy technician
