Hes tough to rank. Hes definetly not top 5, probably it'd be tough to make a case for top 10 even.

He did fight some quality guys and aside from a close call against Castillo, hes not just won, but hes won pretty clearly and without ever being really hurt by anyone. I think hes a notch above pretty much everyone around his weight in this era, but it seems this era of fighters isn't really well respected.

Hes probably going to end up fighting Pacquiao and if he wins that one, it bumps him up a tad in the all time rankings. Probably still no top 10 though.

Leonard is considered an all time great and realistically, Leonard didn't do much Floyd didn't do and Leonard had some silly losses on his record because he fought too long.

Its not like he was out of the fight. If I'm not mistaken the scorecards at the time of the finish were at 4-3, and 4-2-1 twice.

If he wasn't in shape, that's his own fault. The 2nd Duran fight is a win for Leonard, and he deserves it on his record.

The context was comparing Mayweather's wins to Leonard's. From the above, it seems like I am supposed to overlook the Duran fight, because he quit instead of getting beat.

Not to hijack, but Oscar was a great fighter. But even in his prime, I would watch him fight and see holes in his game that guys like Leonard or Duran would exploit massively.

I just think those guys at the top then were considerably higher than the likes of Oscar or Tito. Just what my eyes tell me.

Yep, Floyd is in that small club of long time champs with no losses.

Marciano, Lopez, Mayweather, Calzaghe. There's probably more.

For all intents and purposes Monzon belongs on that list. Lost a few times within two years as a pro then never lost for the next almost 15 years. Think he avenged those earlier defeats too. To me that's as close to being undefeated without being undefeated.

All were either not great, or out of their prime. Hatton was not even half the fighter he used to be. I heard from Bisping himself, a huge Hatton fan, that he thought Hatton was going to lose because he wasn't the same fighter he used to be. From a british guy, about his british boxing idol. So yeah, I still say he never fought anyone. Corrales was as on-again off-again as it gets, as a fan of his, this pissed me off on many occasions. Just saying names doesn't prove anything. Do you really give Marciano credit for his win over an old ass brown bomber? Marciano WAS great, but Louis wasn't one of the wins that puts him there. Louis was way past his prime. Fighting has-beens doesn't make you great. Maybe Fedor should take on Royce too huh? Maybe you should watch the fights your reading about on Fight Finder and BoxRec.

Respected more because they were BETTER FIGHTERS!

You need to stop trying to make a point for your boy, he was only great at pickin fights. MAYWEATHER DOES NOT BELONG ON THIS LIST!!! Nor does anyone who ever ducked a top fighter in their day. Did Ali duck opponents? NO, that's why he is great, he fought legendary opposition, came out on top, and did it in a time where competition was THICK! Floyd's time had some pretty tough guys too, too bad he never fought any of em!
