Pride is better IMO because of the groundwork, and the fans seem more intelligent. (Haven't heard that one before, huh?)

Pride. I just seem to enjoy watching the fights more - more technical, more grappling - more entertaining.

PRIDE is my preference.

I hate how 99% of all UFC fights come down to grounding and pounding all opponents against the cage. Its so predictable, its like shooting fish in a barrel. Most UFC fighters demonstrate very weak ground skills too. Being a grappler, I live to see grappling shine.

Sure you get some quality fights in UFC, but I do find Pride typically has more exciting fights more consistently (IMHO) and no cage BS. That said, I do find Pride has more controversial calls however shall we say - in terms of matchups and refereeing. My favorite fighters are also in Pride so for me, its a no brainer.

Both have their strong points I guess. But for me, I hate the cage and prefer Pride fighters. Hence I keep coming back to Pride.

I favor Pride and Shooto as well, though I just love mma period.

Pride because I actually get to go and see events live.

I"m not saying I wouldn't love to go to a UFC event though.
