I don't know guys? I've been looking for a way to up my technique and start seeing some immediate benefits, maybe this is it. I mean it'll be like the second coming of BJJ in a way, because no one will really know what hit them.

I'm kind of excited.

The only way to get better is to train hard, analyse your game, correct mistakes in it and challenge yourself. There is no short cut to improving at grappling other than hard work, critical analysis, dedication and being taught by a good instructor teaching to a high standard.

While that is all true, I believe Triso was being sarcastic.

damn that gracey joo-jitsoo!

edit- "The Japanese might have turned it into an Olympic sport, and the Brazilians who sucked at Judo might have perversed it into some unrealistic game of ground chess (*Note*-Most Brazilians are awesome at Judo, and Vale Tudo is as real as it gets. But just focusing on groundwork is stupid, unrealistic, and dangerous

I love when they mention the skills of US SPECIAL FORCES!!! Any Army Ranger, Navy Seal, or whatever the fuck will tell you that they don't have that extensive of hand to hand combat. If you are in special forces and are fighting with your hands, you have fucked up somewhere. I've also beat an Army Ranger and Navy Seal in tournaments and I'm not that good really.

True, I trained with an an Army Ranger once. Very strong and I could tell he had been taught basic Jiu jitsu but i was able to catch him and at the time i had only been training maybe 6 months.

Let's all chip in 5 bucks and buy it! I will make copies. I have the LHW division covered in the UFC. Lidell is going down!

That leaves the WW, MW, and HW belts up for grabs. You guys can have those.
I'm a little over 170 at the mo, but as I'll soon be a guerilla grappler why should I bother to cut weight. So I'll take MW.

Gold Medal Grappler? Wouldn't somebody be able to track this guy down?
Wouldn't there be some type of record of him?

well i don't think he competed as liutenant x, if he ever did compete that is,

Army guys would probably have the advantage of being a bit fitter than the general population, but it's not like they'd have extensive experiance at grappling. Why would you need to resort to grappling if you have an assualt rifle in your hands.

Lol, even having a rifle with no rounds would be better than grappling

Rifle with rounds> Rifle without rounds > Grappling :p
