Social Government shutdown this Friday?

Pretty interesting to see her try and take the reins, somewhat indicative of the power vacuum in the party right now. The bill could maybe still be up in the air, the progressive wing of the party was manic last night about it

She calls it an extreme spending bill when it is the Biden budget lol. She sounds like she has big girl pants on, but is basically a word salad.

That being said, Schumer was on MSNBC last night and seemed like a wreck. Perhaps the rise of the AOC era is upon us!

Schumer is a complete retard. AOC should continue to aggressively assert herself imo

Hopefully it doesn't shut down. I kinda need money to get by

Honest question, who would you blame if they did shut it down?

Word is, Top democrats felt that the “Schumer shutdown” has too good of a ring to it, especially Schumer himself being very annoyed by it. That and many clips of the same democrats very recently saying it is the worst thing that can be done

I hope so too. Tapper asked if she was going to primary Schumer lol

I'd blame both parties. It's a bi partisan issue. I think blaming one party over the other is just political theater. It a combination of all of their fuck ups that put us here.

I see the motivation from both sides. It just sucks for me because if it shuts down I'm working with no pay indefinitely.

You're DoD you'll get some kind of clause put in like last time...CG gets screwed because we're the only military branch not in the DoD and they forget to include us....

...that was a miserable month...

Hopefully you're right but I won't get my hopes up. My gut is telling me that I'm gonna get the big green weenie on this one

Democrats fear mongered so much about government shut downs, they have no choice.

CR passed the senate. Trump completely out manuevered the democrats collapsed into further disarray.

Meanwhile, Trump went over toe the DOJ and gave a speech naming all of the people who took part in the lawfare against him, and exited to dancing to the YMCA

Complete and utter domination

@deviake just curious how you feel about this move. Should also be mentioned that it is very calculated to be exactly 60 votes to approve, meaning everything was negotiated before hand to let Rand Paul have his moment to be the lone opposition with republicans. Keeping in mind that Fetterman was the first to create momentum to have democrats turn to get the exact 60 votes needed.

Granted, that questions alone has multiple facets to analyze. But damn, can we at least agree it was a power move?

This literally looks like a scene from the apprentice. Which was just out on Amazon prime. Watching it for the first time, completely exceeds my expectations, despite being the highest rated show for years
