GOTHAM (Season 3 Premieres Sept. 19)

He's in next week's episode of Flash.

Goddamn not enough actors in the tv series business?

Anyway, I hope Don Maroni comes back to life by surviving the gun shot!!!

With Fish Mooney out of the picture, Gotham will be introducing a new formidable villainous duo in Season 2: Theo Galavan and his sister, Tabitha, who will go on to become DC Comics super-villain Tigress. James Frain (The Tudors, True Blood) has been cast in one of the two new regular roles on the Fox series. He will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan.

A new Gotham arrival, Galavan is the savior the city has been waiting for

James Frain was pretty badass in True Blood and I think he has the characteristic look for the style of Gotham, so I think that's awesome news. Jessica Lucas is hot AF.

Meh. I'd rather they went with the Court of Owls as the next Big Bad.

Michael Chiklis Joins GOTHAM as Captain Nathaniel Barnes

Michael-Chiklis-Gotham-Dragonlord.jpg

Michael Chiklis is returning to his cop roots in Gotham Season 2. TVLine reports the Shield alum is joining the FOX series as Captain Nathaniel Barnes. He sounds like the sort of ally Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) needs when the series returns, considering the detective is newly bumped down to the rank of traffic cop.

Gotham producers describe Nathaniel as a “tornado who lands on the Gotham City Police Department, ripping out the dead wood of Gotham’s police force. He is a law and order zealot; unafraid of making enemies — on either side of the law. For Gordon, Barnes is a hero and a mentor, someone with whom he can share the burden of heroism. Captain Barnes proves himself to be a strong ally to Gordon … but one day he will make an equally powerful enemy.”

He’ll be one in a list of many enemies for Gordon, especially since the Gotham hero has finally gotten on the Penguin’s bad side. “I think [Penguin] was deeply hurt by the betrayal Gordon showed him in the finale,” Robin Lord Taylor tells Zap2it of his character. “He was going to leave him there to die in a hospital handcuffed to a radiator.”

There’s also the threat of the Joker looming at the beginning of Season 2. “He’s locked up in Arkham right now,” executive producer Danny Cannon teases. “We get to meet him again and see what he’s blossomed into. Over the first episodes, we’ll see how his ideology spreads.”

Burris from TD season 2 is being added to Gotham? Interesting.

I'm really surprised this show is being brought back for a second season. I might need to give it another chance.

Set your expectations low. It's not that great but it's entertaining. And I think it's easier to watch season 1 if you binge-watch it.

She looks great.

Always found Jessica Lucas to be hot. She didn't really give a strong impression on me when I first saw her in Cloverfield, which is understandable since everybody there had to look un-glamorized. But she looks great in everything I've seen her afterwards Cloverfield.

I'm not sure whether I care about this anymore. Probably gonna dump Flash too. Too many shows to keep up with.

Villains Rising in New GOTHAM Season 2 Trailer

[YT]FBah_uo9rY0[/YT]

Just finished season 1 - as dragon said, it's far more palatable if you watch it in a row instead of weekly.

Felt season 1 should of been entirely GCPD vs the Mob with the Wayne murders happening at the season finale. Throughout get more of a glimpse of how papa Wayne was as a person and more of his back story. Maybe, maybe a few young super villains being shown but no real storylines for them; just almost easter egg like appearances.

Too many villains being introduced kind of ruined the show for and it looks like season 2 will follow that formula even though actors and producers acknowledged that was / is the biggest flaw of the series.

I will say, it's very dark - a lot of kills and some pretty gruesome scenes. No one gouged out en eye or dismembered body parts in the Nolan films lol.

Can't wait for the new season to start. I had no problem watching it weekly. The style of the show alone was enough to captivate me.
