Got Me a DeWalt Cut Off Saw

I needed something to trim some siding yesterday and grabbed this and holy crap it works awesome. Cuts though wood and nails with no problems.

Now I need to go find some more things to cut.

Could’ve used that money on a Hot Toy smh.

Cool. I'm a M18 Milwaukee guy. The difference in batteries for DeWalt wasn't for me.

I have 4 Milwaukee drills, table saw, miter saw, orbital sander, pole saw, vacuum & jigsaw. All work with same battery.

Then I have a DeWalt planer, Ryobi nail guns, Ryobi drill press, Bosch routers, Wen jointer & Wen band saw. Have a Jet air filter.

EDIT: add a Milwaukee circular saw to list.

In the union we call those grinders, and they’re SUPER fucking dangerous even to professionals. They are the #1 power tool to cause injury on the job. I don’t know a lot about your situation, but I would suggest you consider getting a multi tool instead of a grinder. They can do way more, and they’re way safer in my opinion.

A grinder. And a cut off saw arnt the. Same thing.

Been thinking about getting one of those for when indonttt want to get out. The circular or use thee table saw

I'm not a big fan of that style of grinder, the safety button on the back causes more trouble than its worth

I just replaced all my dewalt 18 volt cordless stuff that I had since the 18v dewalt came out, with milwaukee.

No complaints about the dewalt though. I used the shit out of them and they took all the use and abuse I threw at it. Only reason I switched to milwaukee is because if their deadly 1/2 inch impact. For the price of it, it cant be beat.

I got a full set of Milwaukee always liked em better. Sawzall,bandsaw,hammer drill,several other drills, a fan, a radio. Dewalt is solid though. When I worked construction it was all Milwaukee power tools and they let us have the tools after every big job was over so I acured quite a collection. With all the batteries I got for Milwaukee it would be dumb to change.

I've got the 1/2 high torque. Aiming for the 3/4 next. When working on heavy shit all day, Milwaukee is king. M18 and m12. Fuel.
