Gordon Ryan on McGregor's BJJ and Dillon Danus

I don't think he would do well . He's a slow grappler and lacks athletism for mma. His takedowns are pretty non existent.
Lovato isn't a great athlete and he was doing well. Gordon is young still, I think he could at least do as well as Roger did in MMA, that being said it's tough to say without seeing him fight.

Lovato has better take downs than either for mma. Gordon take downs are horrible. Maybe a little better than Ryan Hall.

I think he should stay in grappling if he ever get medically healed from his stomach issues. He makes alot in money grappling. No need to do mma.

He has said he wants to show his fence wrestling in ONE, that is probably what his MMA game would revolve around

I see, but he only sign with one to do strictly grappling matches . Which make no sense when he's competing against the best grapplers already .

Is just going to grapple with mma fighters?

Yeah most people look different from 18 -24. Especially if you train for a living.

I couldn’t even grow facial hair at 12. But man 6 years later.

That pic is like a picture every 6 years and you’re shocked at the physical change of someone.

shit that boy was an infant now he’s walking around he’s like 10x the size and does arithmetic and plays football.
Yeah, especially when they do a shit ton of steroids on top of it.

I wonder why Conor even chose to bring Danis in... he could pretty much train with anyone on the planet and he chose Dillon Danis...

Has anyone ever considered that maybe Canor The Glass Legged Delusional Lying Little Rat might just be a really bad student?

Yeah I think he even had a match signed with Shinya Aoki (lol) before he had to cancel everything because of his stomach. Tonon took the same path into MMA so I who knows, but I would imagine that's part of the reason Gordon signed with them, he could get some experience in a cage and see how it felt

As long as he gets his stomach together I think he will try MMA eventually, he is 25, seems kinda boring to just live out the rest of his life selling instructionals when he could try MMA and possibly become 100x more famous and rich, especially when he has always said he would go to MMA. And if he looks bad and loses so what?

I’m no McGregor fan but big LOL at Gordon Ryan talking to anyone about “getting back to their feet” when the guy makes a living flopping to his back…

For anyone not familiar with Gordon Ryan’s BJJ just look up ANY match of his… it’s the same drill everytime:

- Collar Tie to half guard

-Clinch to full guard

-Butt scoot towards opponents

-Flop around for leg locks

The guy has zero adaptability to MMA

<36>

Meh, steroids helps but not the x factor. If someone gives you exactly the same steroids, I absolutelt guarantee you wont look like him nor come close achieving his accolades.
This has actually been tested. Ppl gain significantly more lean muscle sitting on the couch taking roids than ppl who lift weights regularly without roids.

You can look at pro bodybuilders on and off the sauce, the difference is astounding even tho they are constantly lifting weights regularly.

He also said he would compete in GI too lol. He should've been embarrassed to take a match with Aoki..

He makes great money for not getting punched in the head. Mma will be a rough road for him .

Haha that's true

It would be, but you only live once, and MMA is something he has always wanted to do, so why not at least try it? Worst case scenario is he loses a couple of times which would put him in the same position he is in now. Obviously, brain damage is pretty serious so maybe it isn't worth it because of that

And imagine if hypothetically he became UFC MW champ, the dude could be a huge star

I think his ego might be damage to much if he goes in mma and gets ko. I honestly think he said he wanted to do mma just to say it . I'll be surprised if he does and be the first to admit I was plain wrong.
