Gordon Ryan on McGregor's BJJ and Dillon Danus

Yeah most people look different from 18 -24. Especially if you train for a living.

I couldn’t even grow facial hair at 12. But man 6 years later.

That pic is like a picture every 6 years and you’re shocked at the physical change of someone.

shit that boy was an infant now he’s walking around he’s like 10x the size and does arithmetic and plays football.
Loool yeah all natural!!!!
Must be reading Paulos costa açaí recipes...

Conors grappling has seemed to decline if anything, his grappling looked sharper at 145. Porrier is obviously no slouch in the ground but his wrestling is nothing to write home about and he's been able to take Conor down in both fights with relative ease.

He has too much ego and pride to change his training partners and coaches, training with a journeyman black belt and Irish national champ wrestlers will only get you so far.

Well actually Ryan's post doesn't make a lot of sense. If Dillion really is as bad at JJ as he claims then of course Conor wouldn't have learned anything from him.

Now to be honest I would prefer that Gordon Ryan be Conor's coach than Dillion because I know Gordon Ryan is much better, but even taking that into account it's one thing to be a master of BJJ and another to actually make it work when you are being punched in the face.

Yeah I wonder if guys like Danis go like 70% to pad Conor's ego in training, seems like something Danus would do lol

Lol hilarious

Conor doesn't have coaches, just yes men.

indont know if he is or not. But if my job was training and lifting weights it’s not impossible at all.
The pic is a 19 year old training bjj. To 5 years later of doing nothing but training as his livelihood.

just think of it like this. If your sole priority in life was eating arbys you could drastically change your appearance in 5 years

Meh, steroids helps but not the x factor. If someone gives you exactly the same steroids, I absolutelt guarantee you wont look like him nor come close achieving his accolades.

I wonder why Conor even chose to bring Danis in... he could pretty much train with anyone on the planet and he chose Dillon Danis...

He starts with a clear beef against Danis ("bad at jj") so assessment may be a bit suspect, but it's clear Mcgregor hasn't improved as advertised.

I'm convinced Conor is just cheap when it comes to coaches, and sparring partners. He's never had elite anything in his camps.

Kind of a bitch move from Gordon. I bet he doesn’t know some things in basic striking that Conor could teach him. Stay in your fucking Sport!

Didnt he sign to ONE? Its just grappling right now but hes prolly gonna take MMA fights. He will only fight bums and little asian dudes like Gary Tonon has been doing tho wont test himself.
Tonon actually lost a while ago

No he didn't
My bad. Last time I saw a fight of his was against an Asian dude, commentators were jizzing over every move Tonon made on the ground but the other guy actually held his own. Somehow I had the impression he lost that one

He'll go the Michael Venom Page route and just fight bums.

Gordon's entire image is that he is a the greatest nogi BJJer possibly of all time. One can easily make the argument. The moment he loses a MMA fight, his stock and image crumbles.
