Economy GOP back to Inflation worries. "Hyperinflation" (Update: 2022 Inflation Highest in 40 Years)

My 5 year old has better cognitive abilities than president poops-his-pants.

There still would've been a lot of pain even if we did all the shit that needs to be done; the medical & financial industries need to be neutered and that's like 40% of the US economy right there. Implementing sane fiscal & economic policies instantly kills 80-90% of both sectors and that's around 1/3 of US GDP gone, gonna have a hell of an economic restructuring before we can get things rolling again. Last time we did something like that was 100 years ago, but the US was in a lot better shape then than it is now.

It's what so infuriating about them wanting to print trillions for global warming. I mean yeah we would all like to make things better for the environment but you don't just up and start shopping organic at Whole Foods when you're in debt on all your credit cards.

If we were actually serious about global warming we'd go all-in on nuclear power with full reprocessing, and then we could even run carbon capture and Fischer-Tropsch to make carbon neutral gasoline & diesel fuel. We costed this out back when I was working in research and it could be done for what we've spent on all the bailouts since 2008. Another fun way to do it would be to take all the trace Thorium that's in coal, use it to run nuke plants, then use the power from the nuke plants to run Fischer-Tropsch and turn all that coal into liquid fuels. It turns all the US coal reserves into fuel for nukes and transportation fuel, and just like that you have full energy independence and a hell of a lot less carbon emissions.

Needs to be done. We’ve gotten to what I made a thread about, topical steroid addiction. Where you try solving a chronic issue with an ax it’s treatment. And that treatment loses effectiveness after a while and then cussed addiction and in the end causes severe dysfunction and or withdrawal

Inflation is baked in. SOmething like 10 trillion was ginned up during pandemic and 40 million jobs lost. Simple over cash supply and not meeting demand. Once you shut down a fucking economy all bets are off. Could wreck us actually, we don't know 3rd and 4th order effects yet. Can't blame Biden for this but modern scared of everything ppls.

What you can blame him for is mandates, being a race hustler/divisive fucker and a general retard or invalid who inspires no faith in ppl.

I never understood the drive behind anti nuclear sentiment
I feel that James clavell had a great theory
In this book https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noble_House_(novel)
In the book a Soviet dog instructs a British MP to oppose nuclear energy. As it didn’t need as many workers to maintain and run it compared to coal. Which would cost union jobs and thus hurt communism.
Not saying it’s the reason but the left has a weird s short sighted view on it and it has no rational

3rd order will be the bursting of the bubbles.

Boy howdy, I'd hate to be on the side that got this one wrong, while smugly calling the people who got it right a bunch of idiotic conspiracy theorists who don't know how the economy works. Could you imagine being a politician on the wrong side of this in an election year? I'd wager people wouldn't be too confident in that side's ability to combat this.

People pumping this hyperinflation nonsense makes me sick you think we live in some kind of 3rd world shithole for F sake? You people are gullible an f'ing paid trolls. You think your living with hyperinflation try moving to countries below and you guys are corrupt dump F's for pushing this nonsense. I delt with people who came from hyperinflation countries and they are begging to come to America. It all comes down to that Russian F head holding OPEC by the balls so he can help his little puppet win office again. You think Trump is not running around doing campaign stops already to support people running for office the first thing out of his mouth was did you see how big the crowds where Jan 6? Seriously I hope a super Volcano goes off to change people's F'ing persepective unF'ing believable.
