I mean, how would you guys react to a business advertising as "black or Hispanic or Asian run"?

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Businesses can now describe themselves in Google Maps listings as being owned, led or founded by women, the Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O) unit announced Wednesday.

The feature would roll out this week in celebration of International Women’s Day, on March 8, Google said in a blog post.

I like this. If those businesses think that advertising themselves as female owned will help drive their business, more power to them. I wouldn't shop somewhere just because of that, but some people probably would.

Smart of Google to launch it on International Women's Day too.

Some White guys make use of Affirmative Action for women, by registering their business in a female family member's name. The Federal government gives added opportunities for women owned businesses.

Why roll out this feature for one sex and not the other?
The concept is already stupid to begin with, but this is just dumbing down society with gender bias beyond repair.

It's very obvious when you see a business from the way it's designed if it's female or male owned.
A feminine design looks completely different than a masculine design.

Wait, women and minority owned businesses get tax breaks? Serious? How the fuck is that legal?

Give a white male 400 free SAT points, 25% free increase in GPA, and business legal advantages, and they call it Jim Crow. Give the same to a minority and it's not even racist? What's the difference?

How is a "blacks only" tax break or a "blacks only" admissions advantage different from a "whites only" sign?
