I get all my medical advice from autistic children.
Look at the messging in that poster.
There was a story in the CBC about a moderna posing a 'small risk" for heart issues in teens and Ontario doctors recommending Pfizer over Moderna. It hasn't been paused like other countries are doing.

'Mild risk' prompts Ontario to recommend Pfizer over Moderna for those aged 18-24
Pfizer also had received the same heart inflammation from FDA.

I work for a HUGE transportation and logistics company and according to the available info I can get we've had one man who died back in 2020 that was in his 60s and worked under trucks his entire life as a mechanic who smoked. Word was he was in poor health.
The village I live in, albeit small there's not been a single death, we have loads of old people here.
I'm not even aware of anyone who's been so seriously unwell they've had to go into hospital on a ventilator. Infact I'll be honest, if you removed the internet and TV I'm not sure I'd know there was a new killer bug on the loose.

I know for a 100% fact that I wouldn't even know covid existed if not for the media and government. I think the only people that potentially would know would be healthcare workers.

The people I know that got it just claimed that it either felt like a cold or a regular bout with the flu. One guy said it was a bad flu but it drug on for over a week for him. If the media hadn't been reporting on it, I would have thought nothing of it.

What fantasy world are you living in? Show me where there is any legislated power to demand proof of vaccination at this time for Police? They are given the power to act on behalf of authorised officers. The only reason police ever became involved was because people threatened the auuthorised officers when they attempted to use their powers...

In Victoria people literally took over the Shrine of Remembrance, Rioted through the street assaulting people, kicking dogs, assaulting Police and took over the Westgate bridge, which is as close as Vic has to the Sydney Harbour bridge because there union didn't do exactly what that small violent minority wanted. This wasn't an hour delay. they took it over for 6 houurs, smashed bottles, pissed on the side of the road, before again attacking Police. When did we let violence decide what we do in the country?

There is nothing in Australian law that says you have free access to do what you want once you start committing offences. People just don't understand the law and think it's a tv show.
Well nsw is opening up on Monday and you'll need proof to enter places, like I said police commissioner has said they won't go around asking for people's vaccine passports.

“The role of police in terms of vaccine passports, we will not be walking through restaurants, cafes and pubs checking if people are double vaccinated,” he said.

“[But] we will certainly be assisting restaurant owners and shop owners if they are refusing entry to someone – we’ll certainly respond to assist those people.”

Speaking to the media later on Tuesday, Hazzard said police would be responsible for enforcing the public health orders.

“If the law says you have to be double vaccinated, then of course the police will enforce that, they have no choice but to.

Victoria is fucked, of course protesters do dumb shit and abuse isn't OK but they were lied too and pissed off.

If there isn't a law of police being able to ask, let me know as I'll be going out on Monday if so.

Edit: noticed in my first post you quoted I didn't really make as much sense as I should have in a few things.

I'm talking about 2 diff states and it's getting all mixed in, should have a cup of coffee before I read or write lol.

Once they started pushing for those with antibodies and the children to be vaccinated... I was totally out. That's anti-Science.

This is all about power and control, not saving lives.
Had a young family member that's had a adverse reaction to Pfizer.

They say how amazing the vaccine is yet everyone needs to get it too work.

Imagine being so stupid you still think this shot should be anything close to mandatory…

The fact that this pandemic is being used as Trojan Horse to gain authoritarian control over the people, is so obvious at this point, that it's absurd that people still deny it.

The fact that people do, has to be (in large part) because of a mass psychological defense mechanism afflicting the vaxxed.

I don't think that they can face the reality that they're on the wrong side (the side ushering in totalitarianism), so they continue their support, regardless of how blatant the agenda presents itself.

That’s about as dead on as I have ever heard them described as .

It just comes down to trespass laws in terms of businesses. Businesses have the right to allow/refuse entry to patrons. It's not discrimination as people are choosing to get vaxed or not vaxed.

Police (at this stage) do not have a legislated power to demand you prove vaccination. They do have a power to demand your details to investigate if you are breaching the CHO directions and can arrest you if you fail to provide those details. You can be arrested for continuing to breach CHO direction if told to move on.You will only be arrested for being a self righteous F* wit or basically by being a Karen to the cops. That's it. Provide those details, say you don't agree with the rules and then go on your way. it's not hard to intelligently protest, people cause these issues with Police because they want their 5 mins of fame.

You provide your name, an address for a possible investigation or ticket and you have fulfilled your lawful requirements. They can then issue you a direction to move on equivalent and you have to go. You can refuse to provide those details, but you will be arrested for failing to provide those details just llike any other offence.

Now the Authorised officers, they have some crazy powers. Drinking or eating in transit to a covid hotel is a 20 grand fine per breach for example.

All those protesters in Vic are actually committing other offences and can be arrested for those offences before we even mention to CHO stuff.

All you need to see is the difference in the arrests for the people at the Shrine or in the City of Melbourne vs the recent nurses protesting in the park without other offending. Protesting is protected under Human rights, mass gatherings leading to violent offending is not, during or after covid. I personally don't agree with any of it including lockdowns, but it just annoys me that people make all these claims without actually understanding the laws, their own obligations and their actual rights. Your human right is not to do whatever the hell you want, it's the opportunity to have certain freedoms, act within our society and then have a channel to challenge laws within that society in court or by electing different representatives to make those changes.

Legal ground to stand on a beach???

Come on you can't be serious.

He is quoting common law which is over ridden by a legislated act in Australia.

It doesn't matter what I think, at that time it's an offence to be doing what he is doing. He gives his name and address and they probably just say, sorry mate it's time to go home. Have a good one. His own friends are telling him to shut up the whole time.

This stuff has been through the courts multiple times. It's just some sovereign citizen idiot who will lose like they always do in court. If he is an irish backpacker he will be deported. We do not have anything like the US system here at all. Legislated Acts can over ride everything. You have to have a basic understanding of the laws in the country you are in at the time.

Good. The US healthcare industry needs to be cut by at least 50% anyway.
Put it this way, when I was born the US healthcare sector was around 6-7% of GDP. It's now just under 20% and I'm barely mid-life crisis age.

Most are probably pencil pushers in that increase. But as for nurses, we are about to face a massive shortage
