Is this reasonable? or a slippery slope?

My son has a cold so we took him to the doctor. They test him for strep & C19, both negative. We get his results today & the patient info states that negative tests are not as reliable as positive tests. He should still quarantine for 10 days. WTH is this BS? How many negative tests do we need? My mom's doctor tried the same BS. Sorry, not how it works.

EDIT: I have a pic of the letter but can't upload to War Room?

This is what happens when you let the inmates run the asylum.

Humans used to have natural vetting processes, which have now been destroyed through technology. Any retard can become the gold standard, any day of the week; as evidenced by America's back-to-back election of blatant geriatric conmen. As evidenced by the global worship of corporations and brands.

Anarchy is the ultimate reality of individualism and we're experiencing it in peak form right now.

It's heartbreaking what they're doing to those kids. Pure evil.
Yeah teaching kids to wear a mask is evil, coming from the guy who plays apologist for the Srebrenica massacre. What a sick joke you guys are.

Open an imgur.com account (free). Upload pic of COVID letter. Copy BB code from image and paste here. Profit.

Requested by the football team to confirm it's not C19. We have 200 kids across 2 JV teams. Trying to prevent outbreaks.
So you're trying to prevent outbreaks but want to ignore quarantine guidelines? K

In general it is true that a false negative is more likely than a false positive, but those rapid tests while in theory should be very helpful can be a bit iffy. My brother and his wife recently both had typical covid symptoms but were repeatedly testing negative with the at-home kits, until he went and got a pcr which returned positive. Id say that if you dont have symptoms, then probably go with the result but if you do then get a pcr.

Good point. I assumed it was PCR because it took 24 hours for results.

EDIT: Confirmed a PCR test.

They’re telling you that for two reasons: it’s true that negative tests aren’t reliable and they have to cover their own asses. Im assuming they just stuck it in one nostril? I’ve heard an explanation of why it misses sometimes and it is to do with how far along you are in the virus life cycle. Remember, this isn’t some well developed test - it’s just the best we have come up with so far. I heard an estimate last year that tears were missing maybe 30% of cases and reporting them as negative. I’m sure that’s changed and gotten better since then.

I’ve seen how the Australians are testing for it. They’re swabbing both nostrils and the back of the throat. Apparently this is a lot more accurate. I’m sure we don’t do it though because it would dissuade a lot of patients from getting tested.

As far as should you quarantine? I dunno. Probably, but I also know that I probably wouldn’t

No kid or woman was hurt in Srebrenica, in fact, they were escorted to safety. We both know that. Depriving kids of oxygen and psychologically ruining them is evil. Especially when there are zero rational reasons to do it.
Teaching kids about public health=evil

Massacring thousands of Bosnian Muslim men and boys=justified

Couldn't imagine having such a twisted sense of morality, if anyone is evil here its you so kind of rich to see you clutch your pearls at something so minor.

Makes sense. A change of procedure would be good if it helps refine the accuracy. My problem is that the false result likely goes both ways but have no way to know. From the perspective of the doctor, how negative results are reliable? So many questions.

There are different ways of being evil.

My aunt served in a couple conflicts, pretty much frontline (hard as fuck lesbian tomboy).

The Bosnian genocide ended her. She quit immediately afterwards. Said she's never been the same since, that she saw shit in Bosnia that made her lose all faith in humanity. She speaks very little about it. She told me one story after a good few drinks, it was absolutely harrowing. Never asked her about it after that.

She's always been a Patriot. A real queen and country, believe the status quo person. She runs a privately owned care home and almost got fired during lockdown 1 because her bosses were trying to force her to write covid as every death. Some kind of financial/insurance benefit to it. Eventually the care home backed down but it opened her eyes to how cunning, opportunistic and subversive a lot of this covid stuff is.

Obviously, not a patch on what she saw over in Bosnia, but just saying evil doesn't have to manifest as horrific violence. It can be sneaky and self-serving too.

Not trying to cause an argument here, Bosnians were so fucking welcoming to me and my American mate backpacking in 2013, thanked us for our countries' help during those times like we actually contributed.

I've also been to Serbia twice and also great people. Your everyday Serb isn't Milosevic, like your everyday German doesn't identify with the Austrian dictator.
