The issue is you don't understand the legality of these videos and think I agree with the lockdowns and CHO stuff. I don't, I just hate these people who film these videos and think they are smart , when in reality they are idiots who read a specific thing in some random common law text and don't understand how legislation and other acts work in line with the Australian law system. They get their 5 mins of fame and achieve nothing, they don't show the video where they collect their fortnightly centre link check and apply for every covid payment under the sun.

I never backed it at all. My argument is purely the legality of it. Everyone says "Australia is crazy right now." It's not at all. All people have to do is provide their name and address for a ticket, that's it. Nobody is being arrested for masks or protesting, it's for other offending or refusing to give those details. It's the same as being detained in the US to investigate, That's it.

So what happens is a bunch of idiots watch these video's and think that they have all these magical powers to demand contracts, use the magna carta and all that, which leads to them being arrested. They are creating their own offences due to a lack of understanding of the law and their requirements. Then you have these little clips out of context floating around and the circle continues.

I don't support any of it. I just hate edited videos being sold as fact, when 30 secs of research shows it's the person who ends up getting arrested actually did the wrong thing through lack of knowledge or by just being a f* wit.

Protest intelligently, without violence and meet your obligations and you can't be stopped. It's not a hard concept to grasp.

The law is absolutely ridiculous and authoritarian as it gets in the first world. I get that it's stupid that people think they can sovereign citizen their way out but it's really odd to me that you are arguing on the side of the dumb law just to try and prove a point that you're right.

You are wasting your breath defending the semantics of a ridiculous law. If you're going to waste your breath, waste it by speaking out about how awful the law is.

If everyone took your stance, then the entire world would be actively defending laws that take away their own personal freedoms and liberties.

No I am just giving my opinion on something on a karate foum. I am not shilling for any government. I never said anything about supporting it, I just gave my opinion on these videos were people clearly don't actually understand the legaility behind it. The actual end result is people get arrested and have criminal charges because they believe this crap. When all the have to do is cop the equivalent of a overpriced parking ticket, go to court and contest the CHO ticket. They will get off that ticket, butget charges for the other stuff and ruin their life over this.

I am not arguing for it in anyway. I am saying how you can act within in it, because people don't do some research. It's stupid to commit an offence to protest and get yourself arrested. It's no different to activists in the past chaining themselves to trees, AOC wearing Tax the rich dresses worth thousands etc. It's posturing for the sake of a video to go online. Then you go to court, get the covid ticket dropped, but still have criminal charges for the other offences.

Congratulations, you just lost your ability to travel to certain countries, apply for certain jobs because you didn't know the law. The only people getting anything for these tickets at court are the ones who commit other offending at the time of getting one.

It's an IQ test at this point if you get any actual charges over this.
